Ive stayed at Townsville now 3 times this year and it’s my preferred hotel. The rooms furnishings were damaged/worn and there was a smell of damp in the air which disappeared until you re-entered the room (171) and returned. The bed was comfortable and shower pressure was excellent the best ive had in a long time, but maybe increase the height as i was too tall and was awkward to use. The waiting times for food needs to be adjusted as 45 mins for a starter was too long. The food however was very nice and the staff service was excellent. Your Buffet breakfast was fantastic with a good selection and no complaints . Overall very happy with my time at Mercure Townsville and left refreshed, and relaxed for work. I will be coming back and hopefully the issues will be rectified for other customers.

Well recommended, excellent price/quality ratio. Very friendly staff and rapid recognition of Accor member. Rooms clean, quiet; nice lake behind. Need a car to get around.

Faith in the restaurant was phenomenal but seemingly well over worked. she was managing the floor by herself during busy dinner time periods - she needs some help. The barista made coffee was of a great standard too.
