I enjoyed my stay but having used up points for the reservation I was then downgraded from silver to classic status. So for my stay I didn't get a complimentary drink voucher. A little bit disappointed with this as I've been a regular ibis client over the years.

Actually, you haven't been dowgraded because of using points for paymnent, this is completely different and doesn't impact your status. Indeed, you earn STATUS points on one side, and REWARDS points on the other,. They doesn't affect each other. As I can see, you've been downgraded by the end of the year 2023, so before your booking. When you stayed with us you were CLASSIC status, that is why our staff didn't give you welcome drink. I hope this sounds fine to you, I still remain at your disposal for any further information. bathroom door doesnt close, key card stopped working

The bathroom door didn't close. not just not lock, but it couldnt even close. I told this to reception and they said they would have a look but they never did. It wasn't very clean, there were mystery stains on the loo and under the sink. the faucet was loose. We had our dog with us and booked late checkout but the cleaning lady didn't know about that, so I think the communication with the housekeeping staff isn't great. and our key cards stopped working. The furniture seemed a bit random, there was no bedside table for one side of the bed. the hotel prides itself on being green, but instead of providing glasses or cups for the toothbroush they provide paper cups. when booking i couldn't actually add the dog to the booking.

I shouldn't put a review as I don't want it to get to well-known as it is still a little hidden gem. Perfectly located a minute away from line 14 which brings you anywhere in no time, it is also next to many shops and restaurant on its door step and also a huge cinema. This hotel is young and funky, a giant screen for people to watch sports or events, a bar to enjoy drinks with friends, a pinball machine and retro video games for the fun factor. The staff is approachable and efficient. The rooms are clean and spacious and the one I chose had a terrace overlooking Paris with the Eiffel Tower in the distance. Really can't fault it, just perfect!
