Location and parking excellent. However not a 5* experience from the moment we arrived. No help with luggage until we entered hotel, then concierge helped casually. Room adequate but small. Corridors too dimly lit and airless, dirty along edges of carpet, giving an unclean appearance. Spa well organised. Dinner adequate, no soft lighting/candles/ambiance. Breakfast very good with helpful jolly staff. Overall very much a 3+/4* experience.

The check in was seamless and good. The room was also to our convenience. The service in the bar was very "mixed". Nice to unacceptable. The breakfast room is a bit tight for the size of the hotel. One thing we didn't like (not necessarily the hotel's fault): one night at 3:30am a guest was extremely loud in the aisle, during a long time. He was probably drunk. Unfortunately at one point he entered the room next to us and the noise went on.
