The air con just blew out hot air and room was so hot couldn’t sleep properly

Please rest assured that our air conditioning and heating systems are designed to cater to our guests' needs, with individual controls in each room to adjust the settings to their preference. Next time feel free to inform our staff of the situation so that our Engineering team can do the necessary and show you how to switch it off. the carpet had blood stains on it, the bed and doors were squeaky. if the bed is harder to fix, the doors can be easily oiled, so there's no excuse. the shower was overflowing and we had no soap for the last three days of our stay. the breakfast was quite bare, i'd have payed some extra euro for a better selection. on a different note, the restaurant staff was friendly and accommodating. all in all, the hotel doesn't really cut the 4 star mark. it's an average 3 star hotel at most.

Nice clean hotel within a 15-min walk to the Promenade, tram station right by the hotel, central bus and train stations nearby making it convenient to visit other great sights on the Côte d'Azur: Eze, Monaco / Monte Carlo, Cannes, Antibes

I wanted to love this place. I knew it's not close to the center and that was fine, as it's well connected by tram, bus and train. So the location was great all in all. But then you have the squeaky doors and beds, the overflowing shower and the LACK OF SOAP in the bathroom. They provide you with Rituals soap for a couple of days and then, if it runs out, no one recharges. In my room there were stains which looked like blood on the carpet. Just a couple of drops, but still strange. The staff was nice enough, breakfast was average in terms of options, but good enough for us. All in all, not great, not terrible. Very average, definitely not 4 stars, even with the "superior" rooms.
