Couldn’t be better located for a visitor on foot - right on the market square. Lovely room, very clean with windows that open, spacious and bright. Lift for easy access. Breakfast on site and a bar with snacks. Easy access to the train station with trams nearby. All the local attractions are just there.

I was extremely satisfied with my stay as noted in the headline. The only drawback was the centrally controlled HVAC system (entire building is either own heat or AC). The room was extremely hot and made sleeping very difficult and uncomfortable. Suggestion would be to offer a mini-fan to patrons who share this concern.

Poor check in and small rooms

I was welcome by a member of reception staff not by a hello but instead telling me I should not have booked on numerous bookings and instead emailed to say it was a large booking. I had to remind the staff member I had emailed the hotel on numerous occasions with no reply. Check in was very unorganised with 1 room being missed and 4 guessed being checked in to another twin room in error. Despite being a gold member I received no welcome drink or offered a room upgrade. The room it’s self was warm with the air-con not working properly. It would turn off after 10 seconds. Rooms were also small. Twin room but the 2 beds were pushed together, I may as well have booked a double room. Only positive from the trip was the night porter on reception who was very friendly and helpful. The location is great but constant church bells ringing every morning does dampen the positive locations
