Great stay until we checked out. We checked out early morning to catch a pre booked train. At check out I questioned our final bill as it seemed a bit steep and was rather confusing. I ended up Paying it as the reception staff were determined it was correct. When I looked at the itemised bill it didn't make sense. I phoned the reception and as they weren't fluent in English they asked me to put everything in email. I did this and have followed up twice with no reply. This is very poor service and disappointing after a nice stay.

Was given the worst room - face main road and afternoon sun. My usual is non smoking quiet room but have been given otherwise. As the aircon is not functioning the room was unbearable, when open window it is so noisy - sleepless until Guillhuem helped us on the 3rd night There is no water dispensers and the hotel uses many disposable cups ???? Funny that Novotel has poor service compared to Ibis & Mercure ( was well served a d upgraded ) had many good front desk staff

Nice welcome. Hotel & rooms rather tired & dated. Paper cups in room for tea & coffee is very cheap & nasty.
