We had a pleasant stay at Sofitel Le Scribe. Our parents used to stay at this Hotel. We love the interior, typical classic traditional parisian with contemporary touch. Staff was outstanding from the front desk, concierge, porter as well as restaurant staff. We would just point out one of the concierge in which we are looking for Toy Store in the area. We asked whether GL or Printemps have one, and the staff said while GL still in renovation, Printemps has one on level 7. Unfortunately, we went there and there wasn’t any Toy Store. However, I asked one of the Porter and he pointed to one Toy Store in the area and we finally found one. I would only suggest that the Concierge need to have more ideas on what the Guests want rather to just answer what are being asked. Overall great experience, and would definitely come back. SN: more complimentary waters per day wont hurt a 5 star hotel like Sofitel. Also, carpet in the room needs to be clean throughly, as we are not to use shoes in the room, we can feel it on our feet.

Just about everything was great- the service, the room, the bed, the breakfast as well as the convenient location. The only weak spot was the limited choice of fresh fruits - only pineapple, oranges and grapefruit. I was looking forward to some melon. Also the bathroom can do with more hooks/ rails.

Great Location, Outstanding Staff

We enjoyed our stay for a few nights at the Sofitel Le Scribe Paris Opera. The location was perfect for us, with lots of things to do within easy walking distance. Our room was small but comfortable. It did have a weird layout - the toilet was separate from the rest of the bathroom and on the other side of the room, making it difficult to use the facilities and then wash our hands. Not a big deal unless you’re a germaphobe. Buffet breakfast was included, and it was good, not a huge selection but enough choices to satisfy us. The best part of the hotel was the staff. They were all friendly, kind and helpful. We enjoyed chatting with Lumi, our bar server. We want to send a huge thank you to Eve the concierge. She went out of her way to help us resolve a minor crisis and looked out for us the rest of our stay, assisting with dinner arrangements and overall making sure we were comfortable and happy. She provided outstanding service, and we appreciated her care and consideration. We would recommend the Sofitel for the great location and the excellent people working there.
