it was being repaired all night, hellish noise above our room, until 11:55 p.m. Dust everywhere. I can not believe . I had come to rest, but I did not rest. A tragedy. I will never visit your hotels again

Room in a building site

Being given a recently renovated room was great until it became clear the room was in an area that was still a building site. It was too late for me to go back and ask for a swap, I just need to get sorted do my outstanding work a d go to bed. Also, the room wasn’t really ready to be occupied, curtain wasn’t the right size, shower gel and soap bottles empty. To boot building work continued until 2230hrs. On check in I had to prompt reception staff that I was a silver member and when I said I’ll decide on the morning on whether to take breakfast, no comment was made about pre paying for it or having my credit logged so I could book it to the room. All in all I won’t be going back to this hotel unless this is the last option. It isn’t a new Hotel, so surprised the staff were making basic errors and their approach to guests.

Bjg Couples - Confirmed reviews ALL

Good things first: - very kind and competent lady at reception desk! - easy booking - like always - good new beds BAD: building works have been ongoing - ok, but did anybody of management check the state of the rooms? - Room Ceiling still showed moisture damages - no noise protection from other rooms - we heard the opening of the suitcase of the neighbor rooms - maybe they used the shelf made of iron and it touched the wall - doors of neighbor rooms also hearable - TV not programmed very well - nobody checked functionality of available tv stations - style of room can be discussed ... new maybe ok, but the design of walls has a tendency to attract dust, not the best if somebody has allergic diseases - too less water pressure at the shower - space for toilet to small - seems to be made for children - bad illumination at bathroom - I think it would be better to close the hotel during constructions... check the results and then have guests again
