Definitely the best Ibis I’ve ever stayed in. The team at reception was fantastic, especially Zsanett. The room was recently renovated and almost perfect. Only thing I would recommend is to put a lock on the bathroom door. Other than that I can’t recommend anything better. The location is good next to St Andrew's tram stop and the views on the balcony were exquisite. The continental breakfast was good and the gent that made the cappuccinos at the bar made a 10/10 drink.

Perfectly central location to walk all over! The staff was full of helpful recommendations and there are lots of restaurants nearby. You can expect a very comfortable bed and sheets, and a 10/10 breakfast that is above and beyond! Would definitely come back!

We visit Edinburgh around 3 times a year. This was our first visit to Ibis Styles and wow it didn’t disappoint. The location is fantastic right in St Andrews Square close to shops & within walking distance to Waverley station & the Royal Mile. Our room was on the 6th floor, recently refurbished & with a huge wrap around balcony affording us amazing views from the castle, Arthur’s Seat & out towards the Firth of Forth. As we stayed on a Sunday night we paid a reasonable rate for Edinburgh. Breakfast was buffet style continental. No hot items but choice was huge. Only regret was we were only there for one night but would definitely return.

This Hotel is located right in the midst of new town. We were able to explore this area, and its within walking distance to the Scott Monument and the Royal Botanical Gardens. But if you are a walker, this hotel is in walking distance of all the sights in Edinburgh. If you are are used to bigger rooms to lounge hours away in, you will have to take your lounging downstairs to the beautiful lobby/bar/restaurant area. The rooms are big enough to end the day, but too small to spend the day. But if you're in Edinburgh, then you shouldn't be spending the day in a hotel room. The Ibis is a stylish modern hotel with a focus on service and sustainability. They use larger bottles for toiletries and keycard-operated energy-saving measures in dedication to the environment. And the staff, I cannot compliment the staff enough. They offer supportive and attentive service to all guests. We were not going to make the breakfast on the day of our departure. The desk team offered us take away bags with pastries and fruit. One of us was gluten free. They made sure that we had a GF takeaway breakfast. While we waited for our taxi that morning, one staff member served us coffee and visited with us until we departed. I was sad to leave Scotland that day and the Ibis stay was just one of a million reasons.

What a wonderful hotel. The location is ideal; quiet and within easy walking distance to all the great sights and eateries in both Old Town and New Town. The decor is modern artsy but not pretentious, which makes it fun to walk around and look at the walls and room doors. My room was compact but really well appointed with fun-functional things (who knew push-button rotary phones existed?) and a big comfy bed. Breakfast is a sprawling buffet of fresh food, and the bar has excellent snack and dinner options (the kimchi fries are repeat-worthy). Best of all, the staff are absolute rock stars -- recommendations, directions, this-and-that information, they were on it. Special shout out to Mercedes, Tatiana, Zsanett and Aiden (but truly, staff in all departments were wonderful). Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
