The location was perfect as it is situated in CBD, and only a short stroll of 10 min to both Sheung Wan MTR station and Macau ferry terminal. Staff overall were courteous, and buffet breakfast was great with a decent selection to choose from. There is a Starbucks on the ground floor, and a water cooler in the lobby on the 5th floor. Room was compact but clean, tidy and comfortable, Mainly got around by MTR, followed by bus, though if want to explore HK Island more and visit Repulse Bay, Stanley, Shek O etc., bus is the way to go and most accept Octopus card including the public light minibuses - though do have cash on hand if in case unavailable. Overall had a lovely and memorable trip, and highly recommend staying here.

Locating in the heart of Sheung Wan, we are 5 minutes away from Macau Ferry Terminal and 8 minutes away from Sheung Wan and Sai Ying Pun MTR stations, plus we have multiple trams and bus stops opposite the hotel are indeed convenient for exploring the city and getting around. I have passed on your kind words towards our staff as motivation for them to maintain the service quality. As you enjoyed the buffet breakfast which features International and local delicacies, we continuously strive to improve our services and evaluate our breakfast offerings. Although the room is 17 sqm, it is wonderful to hear that it was clean and comfortable. May I suggest you try our Studio rooms in 25 sqm next time which are also equipped with large bay windows and timber flooring which give our guests a modern and inviting feel. Once again, thank you very much for sharing your delightful experience and recommending this hotel to others. Nice hotel, the staff name clement very helpful to accomodate my request, also the waitress is very nice here.. they have also good food and have happy hour for alcohol beverages. Room is good, quite spacious for the price that I paid around HKD750

The pillows of the hotel room are the fluffiest one I have ever experienced. The room is clean and tidy. The hospitality of the customer service is one of thing that I like most about this hotel. Especially the front desk staff Marco. He is very helpful The restaurant serve good food. And the overall experience was nice.

Clement made our stay a very nice one!

First of all, I would like to say that my wife and I were very happy to receive great service from Clement, upon arrival. He was nice enough to accommodate our requests: an electrical converter, a seaside view, a queen-sized bed, a late check-out and a top floor. Moreover, he did not charge us extra for these services! The room itself was nice, clean, and had a spectacular view, given that it was on a corner, so we could see over the bay. The one negative thing about the experience was that the air-conditioning did not work well. I set it on heat mode and raised the temperature to 32°, but the temperature stayed at 20° all night and I was freezing! If it hadn’t been for my wife, who acted as my human stove, I would have been very uncomfortable. But that’s not Clement’s fault, and I did leave a review about that for the hotel staff to keep in mind. All in all, it was a positive experience, and it would’ve been perfect, had it not been for the flaw of the air-conditioning unit. Thank you Ibis hotel, and Clement, for a pleasant stay.

Looking forward to staying at this famous hotel for a long time. Check-in was very efficient and we didn't need to spend too much time checking in. The room was great! The front desk probably saw that there were children staying, so it arranged for the housekeeping department to add a children's corner to the room. We were surprised by the children's corner for my daughter!
