Specious and comfortable rooms. Always got plenty of water and coffee form the housekeeping staff. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff seemed very welcoming and approachable. The location of the hotel is good 10min walk to Dubai Mall and a convenient store right around the corner.

I was at the hotel on 17th . I had my breakfast at the hotel and I was served by Joy . She is such an amazing staff member. Her service was tremendous and full of smiles . Great job Joy.

В целом все очень понравилось, огромная благодарность за ранний заезд, после тяжелого перелета смогли сразу пойти отдыхать в номер. Вкусные и разнообразные завтраки. Персонал на завтраках очень вежливый и внимательный. Уборка номеров отличная- отдельная благодарность Селим за быструю и оперативную уборку. Из минусов- мы не получили повышение номера , хотя являемся участником программы gold. Номер был на низком этаже прямо над шоссе- было очень шумно, что мешало сну. Персонал у бассейна - в первый день дали полотенца, проводили к лежакам. А на второй- никто не встретил, пришлось выискивать человека- который был очень недоволен, дал полотенца и сказал самим идти искать место. Это тоже испортило впечатление.

We stayed for 2 nights this Eid and was checked in by wonderful Ms. Husna. She was so nice and very friendly and so accommodating. She’s very easy to talk to and she really made our stay delightful. She made us feel so welcomed. I really liked her because she’s very kind to us and provided all our requests. I hope she gets promoted and gets a good bonus and increment as she’s an asset to Sofitel downtown. The opera suites that we stayed in are amazing. I usually can’t sleep in hotel rooms but this time, I was able to sleep well. The suite was big and has still new furnishings. Very beautiful modern design. Pool area was also beautiful and you can smoke shisha there. We were served by Ms. Sylvia in The club lounge and she was also very sweet and have smile on her face. Canapés at the lounge were ok. Ms. Winnie of breakfast buffet was also really nice with us but breakfast buffet food was a disappointment for me. Me and my whole family didn’t like the food at the breakfast, it was limited and mostly Indian food but you can easily go to Dubai mall to get food, the only downside was it’s a bit far by walking even with travellator. It’s around 20minutes walking from metro station. Housekeeping staff were all very kind as well but I forgot to get their names. Overall, we enjoyed our Eid at Sofitel because of Ms. Husna and the rest of the team. Keep it up and thank you for giving us a first-class treatment. Kudos for the team.

This was my 10th Dubai visit, and I chose this hotel based on location. Let me just start with, avoid: 1. 0200 arrival: upsold at $$ extra price from luxury club room to suite, to have a Burj view. Room now at $600 aud a night 😬. Room not ready, 30 min check in 🤔 2. Into room, which was lovely, could hear disco music? woken from 4am by constant whirring and dinging. Bed on same wall as service elevator. 🤨 3. Ask to change in morning. By end of day, changed room. New room lovely, barely any BK view, view of 16 lanes of traffic and monorail tracks. So loud. Constant 🤨. 4. Toilets don't work. Fixed once. Embarrassing. Again, fixed twice. 🙄😬 Notes: Restaurants and clubs all empty. Business district, not tourist area.
