Had my handbag stolen from my room whilst I was downstairs in reception for 45 minutes waiting for someone to arrive. Hotel were very unhelpful, didn't call the police, left me to do that. Missing CCTV footage (mmm) trying to convince me I had lost my bag before I returned to the hotel. Very odd behaviour, I could go on and on . . . . . disgraceful. Would never stay there again BEWARE and keep all your valubles locked in the safe at all times

We were welcomed by a friendly, smiley, receptionist. She was a breath of fresh air. She gave us a choice of rooms. The room was clean and fresh. The bathroom was clean and modern. Nothing broken. It had Nuxe products. The location was great. Despite being by two bars, it was very quiet. Comply bed meant a great night sleep.

This should not be rated as four star The Good: Excellent breakfast - but pricey. Location with beach within 5 minutes walk and plenty of bars and restaurants. The Bad: Understaffed - only one person ever visible. Online check-in does not work - they still request a card guarantee There is no bar or restaurant or room service - a must for a four star hotel The rooms are tiny - even the so called 'privilege' rooms can only just take a king size bed Unless you are on the higher floors there is no beach or sea view. If you have a rear room, you overlook a carpark. There are only 2 lifts and no accessible stairs (fire door access only) and one was not working when I was there. It is very expensive for what you get. My advice is to look else where, check that the room size and hotel facilities are what you are looking for. There much better value hotels out there, even in and around Biarritz.

"PLAGE" SHOULD NOT BE PERMITTED IN HOTEL'S NAME AS HOTEL IS NOT ON BEACH AND HAS NO BEACH VIEW!

"Plage" should not be permitted in this hotel's name as this hotel is not on the beach and there are no views of thebeach. Beds are tiny and not wide orlong enough for a restful sleep. More like cots. Unbelievable as it cost 171 euros for two important things we did NOT get - a hotel on the beach and a comfortable bed.

Very nice modern hotel in a great location on a major shopping street in the city centre. Short walk to the beach. Large comfortable king room. Great breakfast buffet with large selection of hot & cold items.
