Two night stay on a February weekend. Very nice hotel, although the lobby area feels a little small. Great location near Mont Royal. Fantastic staff everywhere you go. Huge room. One of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. Disappointed the hotel bar, which is actually with the only restaurant, closed around 1030 or 1100pm Saturday night (we were told last call around 10pm). Had vouchers for continental breakfast - would have liked to try something else on the menu and apply the continental credit towards something else - instead of having the continental both days. Would definitely return. I can not emphasize how friendly and helpful the entire staff was.

Wish I could give 10 stars! Best hotel experience I’ve had in many years. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The beautifully decorated room was clean and serviced daily-even evening turn down with chocolates! We had 2 mornings of room service—the pastries and coffee were delicious. Conveniently located to Peel St, metro, and Bell Centre. Highly recommend you stay here when in Montreal.

We are regular customers of the Sofitel hotels. This one was up to the standards : we were upgraded to a junior suite which was a nice suprise when you arrive from the aiport after a 7 hour flight. The suite was big, well equipped and comfortable. The bathroom was superb and the bed of great quality. Breakfast was good but we did experience much better ones in other Sofitel branches. We would definitely come back to this hotel in the future, as it also located to the center of Montreal.

Love the service, the rooms, the bed, the food at Le Renoir as well as the room service. The food is really delicious. The wonderful bed and pillows are so comfortable; the staff from room service people to the cleaners to the receptionists to the bell boys to the restaurant waiters and hostesses super efficient, wonderful time every time. I recommend it 100%. I go back every few months.

Disappointed that when we had a problem after complaining to three different staff members including a manager, no one got back to us. We felt we were ignored and no one was really interested in helping us.
