Very nice, clean and spacious room, equipped with all the basic stuff you'd need. The staff was very friendly and helpful and I especially want to praise the two workers who were there in the afternoon shifts, very helpful and friendly. Bus station that takes you to central Barcelona as well as the airport is very close to the hotel, and there are direct lines which is the main reason we booked it. Also, plenty supermarkets and a shopping mall right next to the hotel have made groceries much easier. Would come back. In the evenings it can get a bit loud with traffic outside, so if you're a light sleeper I recommend bringing earplugs. Also, I didn't mind it too much, but a guy in the morning didn't allow us to use the microwave for 30 seconds, just to warm up a pastry, saying it's for people who have breakfast only. While I would understand if we were disrupting anyone, there were barely any people there at the moment and it was not being used, so I don't see why it would be a problem. It didn't affect my opinion of the hotel, but it just didn't make much sense.

We opted to stay here following a late arrival at Barcelona airport. The welcome was great, friendly staff, bright reception. All looked good! Sadly the room was gloomy and a bit tired; tatty blinds, poor lighting, worn towels. What more can we say, it was okay but nothing more. Shame as these things could be sorted. Breakfast was good for a two star property. We are unlikely thought to stay again.

Very comfortable beds. Spacious, clean, nicely decorated room with good soundproofing and no unpleasant odors (this was an issue at some of the other hotels we stayed at during our trip). Convenient location close to shopping center and a short drive from the beach. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast.

my first time to stay at ibis barcelona castellfels and i'm very impressed from the staff. during checkin i told them that i plan to visit sagrada family and how i could i best reach barcelona city center. they nicely gave information and i went to my room which was nice, standart ibis quality. But then 15min later one staff brought me some snacks together with printed information about sagrada family and how to reach it, thank you again.

Good friendly staff, modern fully functional rooms, clean and quiet. We stayed with a pet, also no problem. Recommended for a night stay. But parking is limited and the only other choice is outside the enclosed area is a nearby open parking lot.
