The hotel is dirty and incredibly dated. It’s like very bad student accommodation. Black mould on the windows and in the bathroom and broken furniture. The only positive is the location . Would not recommend staying here and will certainly not be staying here again.

Had a 2 day stay with the family, 3rd time staying here as the location is very good, right by the dock and near town and all the attractions, the car park is a definite bonus. The room was clean and the bed comfortable , one of the smallest rooms I’ve been in , and paid the same for this room as my parents did for theirs and it was much more spacious. Only had a few interactions with the staff downstairs and unfortunately they were not the best, I asked a question about the menu one afternoon and was greeted by 2 staff “scoffing “ and then laughing … which is always lovely ! It was the same staff member who the day before was very abrupt to us .. not had this attitude in any pub or restaurant during the stay in the city. Not the best first impression of the hotel.

The ONLY good thing was the location

To start with the positives its a really good location, however the positives sadly end here. The rooms were absolutely freezing it felt like camping. The aircon /heater thing did nothing ofcourse. The room was dull and bland with mould on the curtains and dirty windows. The TV and hairdryer were barely functional. Breakfast had limited choice for people with allergies and what they did have was nothing special and overpriced. That leads us to the next problem of paying for breakfasts and then being asked to pay again upon leaving when we had already paid and asked to pay for an additional breakfast we did not have. Think twice before staying here.

Not the best stay in a hotel at all room was very very small bathroom wasn’t what I was expecting at all very very tiny I wouldn’t recommend staying in a twin room at all not only that the mattress was that thin I had to double up with the spare one to make it a bit thicker but that didn’t help at all but what the worse thing was people was banging there doors at night from about 10 which is fine but it’s not what you expect to get woken up to at 2am wasn’t happy about that either and the room above me you could here them everytime they’d move and woke me up also the work men outside wasn’t the best wake up call in the morning either wasn’t impressed at all another point was that my key card wasn’t working at all so had to get that sorted out would recommend the food and breakfast and how close it is into the city

Great room for the the money, Beds are really comfortable and the pillows. The rooms are adequate sized and private bathrooms. The shower was so good had lots of power and got really nice & warm. Absolutely love the location of the hotel, lovely views of Albert docks. Within walking distance to Liverpool City Centre which is great.
