A beautiful castle like hotel. Superb central location. Very clean and staff is helpful and very friendly. I highly recommend it. We were there for 5 nights and enjoyed our stay. Cute garden is the middle of it where you can enjoy drinks on a sunny day. Their breakfast is delicious and very generous.

Sofitel Legend The Grand is located in a beautiful building with a great history, right in the famous canal district in Amsterdam. It's a beautiful hotel, offering all luxury and comfort that can be expected from a five star hotel. Normally we never have dinner in hotels, but this time we made an exception to try out restaurant Bridges where we had a truly memorable dinner with fantastic wines. We sincerely loved the place and their staff is so attentive and kind.

We had a great time at The Grand, The hotel staff is simply amazing, the service during our dinner provided by Dennis from Oriole made it simply perfect, the same Compliments to Joshoa from Bridges restaurant, both are very professional, yet funny and have a wide knowledge about the menu as well as the wine. We had also the chance to meet the F&B manager Mr. Okkerse that was walking around making sure both restaurants are properly function, no doubt we will be back. I would say, keep on the spirit as well as the high level of service and food quality.

4+ but no 5 star quality Booked a suit that was definitely not up to the standard. Bed and furniture a bit dated. You could expect more of a 5 star residence today. If you compare it to other top 5 star hotels. Location is very good. Friendly staff. Lacks also amenities.

Some of the best service received in Amsterdam. We booked the hotel last minute as our previous hotel was severely under par. At the grand they went above and beyond making sure our stay was memorable. The staff were accommodating and attentive. The bed is one of the best sleeps I’ve had in a while. The location is fantastic as the hotel is right in the middle of everything but just far enough to avoid the crowds. Best place to stay as a tourist in Amsterdam.
