Would prefer if accommodations on the first floor were available for people with hip problems.

If you have any walking problem, make sure you request a first floor accommodation. There are no elevators. the hotel is well situated within the perimeter of the Mont and the hotel restaurant is quite good. Unfortunately, even if you have a good Accor Hotel status, you may not be able to get a first floor room if there are groups staying there since they seem to have priority.

The hotel is very near Mont Saint Michel, we went during off season so many of the places nearby had been closed. The bus to Mont Saint Michel bus drops and pickup is in front of the hotel, breakfast is decent and all we needed. The room layout is a bit awkward, but for a short stay it is ok. The staff was friendly and helpful and made our trip easy and answered all of our questions.

Отель удобно расположен как с точки зрения доступности на автомобиле так и для последующего посещения монастыря пешком или на бесплатном шатле. Единственно не уверен, всем ли желающим хватит мест на парковке, мы были в не сезон и нам повезло. Важный момент: бронировать парковку нужно заранее. Перед заездом пришлют код на въезд. Рядом есть общественная парковка, но про нее ничего сказать не могу.

4* tourist hotel conveniently situated within walking distance (40 mins) of Mont St Michel, amongst some other hotels. There is a free shuttle to and from the Mont all day. French day visitors use the coach/car park and quickly fill up the shuttle. The parking system is far too complicated and results in queues to exit and pay. Most people stay 1 or 2 nights whilst visiting the Mont which allows early morning or late evening access without the crowds.

We enjoyed staying at the Hotel Mercure Mont-Saint-Michel as it allowed us to walk or take a shuttle to Mont Saint Michel and the nearby area for sunset and sunrise. We found the area very quiet in the evening as most tourists had left. For dinner, there were limited options so we ate at the hotel’s restaurant. As expected, the restaurant was decent, but we would likely have gone elsewhere if there had been more options. Our room in the hotel was in line with a mass tourist location. It was relatively newly furnished, comfortable and quiet. The staff at the hotel were friendly. The hotel was nothing to get excited about, but seemed to fit in with the other properties on the main road near the causeway. There may be more charming places that are further from Mont Saint Michel. We would have no problem staying there again or recommending others stay there.
