I stayed at the hotel between 29/06-04/07 for a business trip. The location is very nice and next to some wonderful walking areas. The room was small but nice and I liked the minimalist style. The personnel were very helpful with a strong professional attitude and made my stay very pleasant. I want to thank them all and especially the front desk employees Max and Alysha! For sure I recommend it to others and will choose it again for possible reservations in the future.

Well located, quiet, good parking lote... We have quick access to the highway to the city of Rotterdam and close from The Hague if you have time to visit and make some tourism. Close to fast food places!

We love the hotel, love coming to the hotel again when I travel on a business trip. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Comparted to my other travels and the hotels stayed, the wifi works perfectly. I would recommend this hotel.

Anyone used to the usual red and white chrome and glass of the public areas at most Ibis hotels will have a pleasant surprise at Vlaardingen. Recently refurbished, it has thankfully retained the traditional ‘warm’ feeling of wood and soft furnishings, it has a real bar and virtually the whole of the ground floor is given over to the spacious reception, bar and restaurant, what is the chance of a new hotel being built like that now? It still has a traditional reception desk, the staff wearing smart uniform rather than the modern red ‘check in with me’ tee-shirts where they meet you at the door and do the formalities on a hand held device (but still have to go behind the bar/faux reception to swipe your card!) The service and the rooms are standard with both examples (still traditional in the rooms at Vlaardingen) and the brand is to be recommended generally but the Vlaardingen Ibis has a special quality which I feared would be lost with the refurb. Well done to those who decided to leave well alone!
