I wanted to love this place. I knew it's not close to the center and that was fine, as it's well connected by tram, bus and train. So the location was great all in all. But then you have the squeaky doors and beds, the overflowing shower and the LACK OF SOAP in the bathroom. They provide you with Rituals soap for a couple of days and then, if it runs out, no one recharges. In my room there were stains which looked like blood on the carpet. Just a couple of drops, but still strange. The staff was nice enough, breakfast was average in terms of options, but good enough for us. All in all, not great, not terrible. Very average, definitely not 4 stars, even with the "superior" rooms.

Very bad experience, unacceptable bad practices, cancelled our booking for unfounded reasons, after paying a deposit, with less than 24 hours notice. It was clear they wanted to sell the room at a higher price, they definitely put profit before customer service. Ruined our holiday, having to find different accommodation at such a short notice,

Nice Hotel a little further from the action of the seafront. Small roof top pool. Rooms are basic and could do with updating. Breakfast was lovely with a good selection of hot and cold items. Especially liked the fresh juice machine and pancake maker.Small roof top pool with sun loungers. Hotel is ideally placed for trams into Nice and about 20 minute walk to the train station. Staff very friendly and helpful. Small bar but offered cocktails which were lovely. Great stay loved Nice.

So this is a weird one cause I dont really know how to rate this hotel. Let’s do this one in categories. SERVICE Really nice staff and helpful too. I arrived early on the day and they let me into my room 3 hours before check-in time without extra cost which was much appreciated :) Thank you! ROOM So I definately stayed in better hotels before. Let’s ubderline this hotel wasnt my first Choice but my holiday provider changed it a week before my holiday. Room was spacious enough for myself. What I noticed first was toilet on its own in a small cubicle - without a sink to wash your hands. There is a sort of wardrobe space but it is definately not big enough. Coffee and tea station on weirdly high shelf which is unusual. Big TV with few English channels but don’t expect to much. Even there are English movie channels most of them will be in French and if you happen to catch English one it will be a very weird one to the point you’d rather watch news. I sticked to Netflix on my phone. Bed was big but there was something wrong with matress that was causing back pain as soon as I lied down. Next to bed was a small couch which was quite comfy. On the other side of bed cute double wooden door that will lead you to bath, shower and sink! So you go to the toilet, do your business, then you have to go across the room not touching anything with your hands to get through wooden door to wash your hands?! Weird, I know. Hotel is definately outdated and needs some investment. If you charge 120-150 euro per night surely there is some money to get few things done like - normal tap or toilet with a sink, new carpets and furniture. In General it was clean but when I started looking there are some details that were missed by cleaners like massive splash on elevator door, smudge on desk in the room a d others. My room was cleaned every day by housekeeping. They did basics: bed, take away rubbish, clean the cups, clean the sink and hoovering. RESTAURANT So you wont get much to eat in France as hardly any restaurant is open between 1 and 7 PM - for someone like me who gets hungry about 4-5 it was most inconvenienct. Next time before I travel I guess I’ll have to check restaurants opening times first. That included restaurant in the hotel. I havent used it. Not even for breakfast. As a person who eats toast with Jam in the morning I could not spend 19,50 euro per breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Definately too much. AREA So it is a bit rough. Next to hotel there are 2 open building sites. You should t hear it in the hotel though due to double windows. It does take about 10 minutes of brisk walk to old town and about 25-30 to the Sea. There is Lidl just round the corner. Its not the biggest but it covers the basics. Nice alrogether is beautiful. There is a lot to see. I recommend taking a train to see other towns like Cannes, Antibes, Eze or Monte-Carlo. Highly recommend Boron mountain where from top you can see amazing views. Overall stay was good but definately could be better. I paid less for more Stars in different countries. I think France needs to step up especially chains like Novotel.

Regarding the restaurant, we offer a variety of breakfast options to satisfy different guests' preferences, which includes orange juice freshly made on-site as well as classic orange juice and multivitamin, apple juice, fruit fresh according to arrival, dry fruit, coffee, black or with milk, tea bag or infused, hot chocolate, scrambled egg (outdoor farm) fresh eggs, bacon, sausage, cheese, ham, cottage cheese, turkey ham, tomato, fraiche mozza, grapefruit, orange, pineapple fruit segment, salted butter or not, cereals 4 different choco, classic, muesli, choco treasure, viennoiseries, croissant choco bread, waffles, honey, Nutella, jam (apricot, orange, strawberry and 4 fruits), brioche nature scones, baguette bread, sandwich bread, hazelnut cake, lemon cake and wholemeal bread. However if you a light morning eater we also provide a City Break formula at the Bar as well as a coffee-croissant option. Next time do not hesitate to talk to our Restaurant team to get more information. Last but not least, our hotel is located within walking distance of Old Nice and other attractions, and we are glad you were able to explore the beautiful surroundings.
