The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly. It was centrally located. However, it seems there was a crack between the bathtub and glass wall as some water seeped through and dripped to the bathroom floor when showering. Also there was no conditioner. Finally, the parking garage was under construction so we could not park there. The best option was across the street at Rideau Centre but there was no in-and-out privelege.

Reservations and payment was and is a joke so far.

Pillows are hard but that is not the problem. Approximately 14 emails...and numerous ohjne calls, messed up reservations over and over again right uo until the day of check-in. Now I hot receipts for our stay which totalled about $500 but my credit card was charged close to $10000. Very unhappy with having to keep calling and trying to fix things over and over again.

Overall hotel was ok, not spectacular Our room was not cleaned once even though we left the sign on our door to di so. Plus, it would have been helpful to have a but more access to controlling the heat in the room. When checking out, the lady at the counter was rude to me when I gave her back the room key

We do not have any signs to leave on the door nob to request a cleaning, we do only have DND for do not disturb in those cases we are not allowed to enter the room and clean it. Disappointing experience. Forgot my night-shirt on the back of the bathroom door. Hotel wants $94 to ship to another city in Southern Ontario. I mean come on, it weighs about 1/2 lb and would cost no more than $10 to mail. Gouging in the highest degree. Beware, this hotel allows dogs and we were awoken 2 nights in a row with dogs barking in the next room in the middle of the night. Not a good situation at all. At least put all the dogs on the same floor! The parking situation is terrible. Very inconvenient and expensive to have to park at the Rideau Centre. Will not be staying at this hotel again.

The hotel itself was nice. However, they didn't let us know in advance about the underground parking was under construction. We pulled into the lot and got stuck in the parking lot. The door wouldn't open to let us out. We asked for help and that didn't happen so fast. We finally got out and were told to park across the street in the other lot. This lot was okay, but ended up costing us $50.00. Many guests were complaining about the parking. It was very cold and snowy. We ended up parking our car and taking uber. Our hotel room was okay, but no where to put your clothing, no dressers, except for a small closet. Next time we visit Ottawa, we will look for another hotel.
