I was very disappointed with many aspects of our one night stay. I booked a room that was suitable for a person who was disabled. It most certainly was not. It was too small to accommodate a disability scooter and it would not be suitable for a wheelchair user. I was confined to one side of the room as the space between the bed and the wall unit was too small. The only concession was a shower chair and two emergency cords. The room was shabby and dated and most certainly wasn’t worth £153 plus £30 parking. Our room was on the third floor. In the morning we waited 15 minutes to find a lift that not only stopped at our floor, and had enough space for myself and the mobility scooter. A number of lifts were out of service. When we finally got to breakfast we were seated next to where dirty plates and cutlery were put. The breakfast itself was very nice. A lot of choice and very tasty. All in all a very disappointing stay

The hotel is well positioned in Hammersmith. Easy access to the underground and bus station. I booked a superior room but it was very tired and basic. Cleaning was ok. There were a couple of dubious hairs in the bathroom when I arrived and behind the door was dusty. There was also an unpleasant stain on the carpet. The bathroom needed refurbishing. I was pleased to have a bath but it was exceptionally small and very narrow. The sound proofing worked very well and was essential as the room overlooked the busy A4 Hammersmith flyover but the air conditioning made the room very dry and I woke up with a sore throat both mornings. Breakfast was ok. A reasonable selection served buffet style. Good selection of fresh fruit. I was staying for business and attending a conference downstairs so it was very convenient and a perfectly adequate stay.

We enjoyed our stay. Our bedroom was spacious, clean and comfortable just a lack of a rubber seal on the screen over the bath which meant water escaped on to the floor when taking a shower. One drawback is that Reception did not answer the phone when calling from home and from our hotel room which could be a problem in an emergency. Also, at Reception everyone had to wait quite a long time while the staff processed their requirements. Due to a change of plans we had separately booked 2 consecutive nights and wished to ensure we retained the same room. This seemed to pose particular difficulty to process. We had not realised that the main restaurant was closed on Sundays so we had a meal in the Bar which was OK. The next night we just stood at the bar to order and collect our drinks and the bar person attempted to charge a 12% service charge! The breakfast had a very good range of choices though the hot food was not very hot. A thing to avoid is being seated next to where the waiters deal with used dishes. The hotel is conveniently situated for buses and underground.

We stayed for two nights. Comfortable room for three adults but disappointed only two cups, refreshments for two and two bathrobes and slippers. Good temperature control. The receptionist was helpful and friendly. We paid for the breakfast on one morning but were not that impressed with what we got for the cost. It was not very hot, the sausages were tasteless and bacon soggy. Half the price is a restaurant a few minutes walk away called turtle bay for breakfast or brunch and much nicer. We were there as one of our party was going to the convention. It was so busy and the bar tables had a lot of glasses and litter that had not been cleared away. We stayed in our room as much more peaceful! We could hear people running up and down the corridor and talking but only when they shouted or ran with heavy feet! Parking was convenient but expensive- £75! I usually email reception or use an app to order room service. This was not available at this hotel, which was surprising. We emailed front desk to ask the time of breakfast and got a response 36 hours later. Before we came it took about 48hours to get a response to the email we sent asking about early check in. I would have expected a large hotel as this, at the price, to be more responsive and up to date with technology.
