This is our second time staying in this hotel. We purposely returned to this place as it has a swimming pool which was ideal to cool down for our boys after a 10-hour journey. Unfortunately, the pool was closed, and our boys didn't get to enjoy the facility. I had booked a double and a twin, but on arrival, the receptionist was surprised and asked if we would be happy with 2 doubles. My boys didn't want to share a bed (16 & 17years old), so a sofa bed was opened for them not to share bed. Bit disappointing when you pay over 120euro (excluding tax) for a room. Also the carpets in the rooms badly need to be changed. The dinner (though pricey for a stopover hotel in an industrial zone) was delicious, and our waitress Patricia was wonderful. She went above and beyond without us asking anything. The whole staff was actually really nice. Breakfast was tasty. We arrived at 9am. (30 mins before closing). I was disappointed with the hot chocolate which was water and chocolate powder from a machine and there was a few things already gone and not replenished: fresh milk, sausages, scrambled eggs, bacon and fresh fruits. This is not acceptable for a €17 breakfast. Overall, it was a handy but pricey stopover

We stayed there for a wedding nearby for two nights at the end of August. Situated on an industrial park and with very little in the local area the hotel is completely unsuitable for tourists, Our very small room (272), had holes in the curtains, a blocked sink in the bathroom, the woodwork was badly chipped, no safe, and would have been poor as student accommodation.Overall the hotel looks very tired. The pool is pleasant but the garden is scrappy. The hotel is situated on 2 floors but there is no lift. On arrival on Saturday we asked the front desk to book a taxi to pick us up from the wedding venue at midnight on Sunday to bring us back to the hotel. The next day I had several messages from the taxi service demanding payment as the driver had gone to the venue on the wrong night. The desk was sympathetic and accepted they had made a mistake. When we asked them to ensure there would be a taxi to pick us up at midnight on Sunday they assured us there would. Sad to say there was no taxi and we had to make alternative arrangements. Any tourist would be better to stay in central Nantes.

We stayed two nights in August. On the first night, we were in a standard room in which the air conditioning didn't work. We set the temperature to 18, then left for the evening. Came back at midnight and the room was too hot. The next day we moved to an Executive room - which was more comfortable in every way. Whilst the hotel has two floors, it does not have a lift - so beware. Also, the garden is awful - it is shabby, and could be a lot nicer. The breakfast was a mixed bag - not great value, but included a "press your own" orange juice machine. Overall, useful for a stopover of 1 or 2 nights.

Spent one night in a family room. Comfortable hotel. Lovely meal in restaurant. Good breakfast next morning - although slightly crowded around the buffet area. Very friendly waiting staff at breakfast. Highly recommend for convenient stopover.

spent 2 nights there on our way to Brittany, rooms looked bit dates, carpet in room 37 needs to be replaced, had a lot of black stains. Else the normal Novotel style. Parking was free, Wifi speed ok and access by car easy. Driving to downtown Nantes takes about 15 Minutes.Breakfast offer not taken, but was first billed on the invoice. The clerk removed it immediately after our complaint, but this should not have happened at all.
