The parking at the Ibis Bordeaux Lac is great, lots of it and fenced in, the first room we were offered had an terrible smell of drains in the room, we were quickly offered another room which was fine, the restaurant attached to the Ibis leaves a lot to be desired, the food was passable, but that is the best I can say, the service was not very good and they had no idea what we had eaten or which table we were at. East elsewhere.

The most horrendous restaurant experience. Food was cold, half way cooked. Staff doesn’t care, argumentive and has no respect to the guests. Ibis hotel Bordeaux Lac Do not recommend to visit restaurant

Our stay was for one night and although the room was clean and the bed reasonably comfortable there were no small extras for the price. We could have done with a glass in the bathroom and perhaps an extra towel but, as their were two [people having to eat in the room ( because of Covid restriction) it would have been nice to have 2 chairs and not had to have sat on the bed to eat supper. The food was appalling and expensive. My duck was overcooked and the green beans looked as if they had been rescued from the bin. Upon booking, we had asked if the restaurant would be open and were told YES....however it wasn't and I think general had been put to work as it seemed very chaotic. Breakfast, which we eventually declined, was much the same....10euros for basically a plate of bread and jam! Not somewhere I would recommend.

Good situation : it is situated in a quiet area (close to the Lac) and well placed for a visit to Bordeaux : there is a direct tramway next to the hotel going to the city center. The rooms in the hotel are clean and pretty large.

As long as you eat elsewhere it's okay

I have visited this hotel several times when driving to and from Spain. They have a large turnover of staff, however they have always been friendly. Unfortunately the restaurant isn't great & expensive, I've had anything from cold food served to wrong orders, even though I've ordered in French, I have to unfortunately report that the staff in the restaurant don't appear bothered when it comes to customer service or satisfaction. However the hotel itself is good, so as long as you eat elsewhere it is nice hotel
