Quarto muito barulhento. Havia barulhos e ruídos de todos os lados, até partes do chão rangiam. Solicitei já na minha chegada um quarto em andar mais alto, o atendente disse que no próximo dia seria possível, mas me enrolaram até eu fazer o check-out, e não me disponibilizaram outro quarto com menos barulho. Em adicional, até agora, 8 dias depois do check-in, a pré-reserva de metade do valor da estadia, não foi devolvida ainda. Reservei, via web, e estou em outro hotel aqui em Londres, e não me cobraram pré-reserva, consegui um quarto em andar alto, não tem os barulhos que tive no Mercure Hyde Park, e ainda com valor mais baixo: custo x benefício x tranquilo muito superior. Vou cancelar minha conta all-accor, não compensa.

Our hotel policy is to take a pre-authorization to guarantee the reservation and to charge the full amount at check-in. We have checked our records and we can confirm that we have cancelled the pre-authorization from our side on the day of your departure. However, it may take some time for your bank to release the funds, depending on their processing time. We suggest that you contact your bank and ask them to expedite the process. If you need any assistance from us, please let us know and we will be happy to help. We are glad that you liked our hotel location, which is close to many attractions and transport links in London. Boa localização, mas quartos muito apertados

O hotel tem a localização excelente, um quarteirão do metrô e da estação de trem de Paddington e dois quarteirões do Hyde Park. Com relação aos quartos eu não gostei. Primeiro porque o quarto que eu fiquei era minúsculo, sinceramente não sei como podem dizer que comporta duas pessoas, segundo tem carpete, o que deixa a limpeza em segundo plano. Os funcionários foram muito atenciosos. Eu reservei um quarto mais caro com cama king size e não foi isso que eu encontrei. O hotel estava muito barulhento porque havia uma obra bem na frente.

Obra no prédio ao lado fazendo barulho desde às 8AM. Poderiam ter nos avisado ou oferecido um quarto mais longe da obra.

We understand how frustrating it can be to have your rest interrupted by loud noises. We do apologize for the inconvenience and we appreciate your feedback. Unfortunately, we do not have any control over the construction work that is happening on the adjacent building. It is a project that is managed by a different company and we have no authority to stop or delay it. We have tried to communicate with them and request them to reduce the noise level, but they have not been very cooperative. We did inform all our guests about the possibility of construction noise before they booked their rooms, and we also offered them a choice of rooms that are further away from the construction site. However, due to high demand and limited availability, we could not guarantee that everyone would get their preferred room. We are sorry if you did not receive this information or if you were not satisfied with the room that you got. We value your business and we hope that you will give us another chance to serve you better in the future. Hotel não é um mercure padrão europa de 4 estrelas. Quartos extremamente pequenos, tinha feito reserva com berço para bebê há mais de 45 dias , chegando a atendente disse que não estava disponível e não podia fazer nada. Solicitei o cancelamento do pagamento do cartão de crédito e em 15 min arrumaram um berço portátil de qualidade ruim. O hotel não dispõe do próprio restaurante para café da manhã , e um café de rua , acoplado a dois hotéis , junto com pessoas não pertencentes ao hotel, o que faz ser difícil conseguir mesas, atendentes não fazem comida para crianças/ bebês. Não recomendo e não corresponde a padrão mercure.

We would like to clarify some points that you mentioned in your review. You have booked a standard double room and you have been allocated the correct room type. Our standard double rooms are designed to provide comfort and convenience for our guests, and they are in line with the Mercure standards. However, if you are looking for more spacious rooms, we do offer bigger rooms with extra cost. You can check our website or contact us directly to find out more about our room options. We also have our own restaurant, which is the Bella Italia, that is connected directly to the hotel. It is not a street "cafe", but a well-known Italian chain that offers a variety of dishes and drinks. Our guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast at the Bella Italia, as well as lunch and dinner. The restaurant is also open to the public, but we have a separate area reserved for our hotel guests. We apologize for the inconvenience that you faced regarding the baby cot. We understand that this is an important amenity for families with young children, and we always try to accommodate our guests’ requests. However, due to high demand and limited availability, we cannot guarantee that a baby cot will be provided for every booking. We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we are glad that our housekeeper manager was able to arrange a portable cot for you.
