Stayed here when the Christmas markets were on 2023. This hotel was coming up as the cheapest one we could find in Leeds. Such a good price and did not affect the quality. Entrance/lobby is immaculate and nicely decorated felt very cosy particularly as it was Christmas. Nice facilities in the entrance e.g tea and coffee facilities and friendly staff on the front desk. The rooms were very spacious, immaculately clean and beds comfy. Ideally located for the arena, plenty of restaurants on your doorstep and shops close by. Cannot complain have already booked again for Xmas 2024. See you then.

Fabulous hotel, spacious spotlessly clean room, the bed was extremely comfortable and loved the quirky decor! The shower was very powerful too ! The hotel is in a great location, we were going to a concert and it’s walking distance to the arena …… Will definetly return when we next visit Leeds.

Great Stylish modern hotel. The rooms were great in size and had everything we needed. It is close to the rail and lots of good fish and chips nearby. RIght in the heart of Leeds. Lots of malls nearby and the area is safe and friendly at night. Would stay here again!

Clean, modern room with everything we needed for an overnight stay in the city. I felt very ripped off as we paid three times what the room usually is due to a gig at the arena. Never anyone on reception so had to hang around u til we were seen on camera. Coffee and tea supplies to help ourselves to was good. The hotel information said they only provided continental breakfast however there was a full breakfast option which we didn’t take I. The end so can’t comment on that.

Scary Staff Attitude

Sadly the visit was marred by very young aggressive front of house staff. Having booked a premium double bed room with a sofa bed for me and my mum. (A treat for mum aged 75) prior to strictly show at the arena. Having got into the room and unpacked I noticed no bedding for the sofa bed (for me). I rang reception only to be told that bedding is only given to under 16s. So either we share a bed or have to move to a standard twin room. I’m only 5ft 4 and size 10 so I didn’t really see the issue (sure there are larger 15 year olds) as we were not exceeding number of adults in a room (only 2 of us) yet refused to give bedding even thou the sofa bed looked more than capable and in the room we paid for lol. When I went to speak to the person claiming to be the manager F2F to resolve and view the standard twin: was told he was no longer available even thou it was minutes from speaking and a very confrontational other team member put me down when I said he had been rude and basically informed me he had not and I refused the standard twin; however he did actually come across as short and lacking any customer empathy, even laughed on the phone to me and oddly then not available. In the end we did decided it was easier to move to a standard room; re pack and unpack again at our inconvenience. As it goes I checked booking.com and their premium room description does not state you can’t use the sofa bed in the room if you are over 16. So that’s not my error!! I’m told I will get back the price difference in rooms. Not sure why we were made to feel like we were trying to do something wrong!! It’s a sofa bed and the room had cost us more. Wouldn’t return out of principle : most of the staff look unhappy.
