I'm not quite sure how to "score" this hotel.it definitely wasn't suitable for two 60 year olds looking to sightsee, walk and return for a quiet dinner and a good night's sleep. It was like an upmarket Centre Parks - full of families with noisy young children taking advantage of all the hotel has to offer i.e. indoor and outdoor pools, golf course, tennis courts and even an ice skating rink! However, we couldn't get a table in the main restaurant because it was already fully booked when we checked in at 12.30pm Our room was spacious, dark and had a comfortable bed but the walls and ceilings were paper thin. So we had trouble getting a good night's sleep. As I said, it was not for us.

As a family friendly resort with a lot on offer for all ages, we do have a large number of families that stay with us, especially during weekends and the school holidays. We endeavor to provide activities for all ages, catering specifically to adults only via the Two Doctors Whiskey Tavern, No. 1 Sublime Point fine dining restaurant, Ubika Spa, Leura Golf Course, as well as the library and billiards rooms onsite. If you did choose to return I am confident that by tailoring your experience around those activities, we can ensure a more enjoyable time for you. Disappointing

“Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains offers a unique culinary experience with an enviable selection of stunning on-site restaurants…” says the sheet they hand you at check in. Six restaurants of which 4 were closed hmmm. Pony rides…closed, large outdoor slide…closed, adventure park…closed, inadequate cooling in the room, very tired furniture, below average maintenance of the buildings including holes in walls, peeling wallpaper, protective film on the elevator door left on, the list goes on. Gorgeous building, awesome location, great concept with a very poor delivery combined with the fact that they wanted an extra $40 per night for my teen daughter despite the fact the bedding, towels etc were exactly the same as if she was 12 made for a disappointing stay. Upside…bedding was comfy. Pillows were yellow stained but were comfy. The buffet was good value too.

We advertise all our restaurant opening days and hours on our website, taking on your feedback we will see if we can make this more prominent to guests ahead of booking so that you can better plan your visit. I am also sorry that the rain during your stay meant the outdoor activities were mainly closed. I am hopeful that you took the time to enjoy instead the many indoor activities on offer, such as the Blue Mountains Ice-Skating Rink, Ubika Spa, indoor arcades, indoor pool etc. We will also look to see if we can make the additional bedding charges clearer at the time of booking, so that you do not face disappointment or surprise during your visit. Noisy, overpriced and poor service.

Terrible service, terrible atmosphere, dated and dirty rooms and common areas. If you are hoping to have a relaxing night away as adults without children, save your money and go somewhere else. The staff on the whole are poorly trained and extremely slow to do anything....If you enjoy kids running up and down the hallways screaming early in the morning and throughout the day, and entitled staff with no clue about customer service, then you have come to the right place!

Imaginem um hotel velho que teve glamour em algum momento da sua história mas que hoje ostenta uma bandeira Sofitel sem ter a menor condição para isso. Fora isso, não acreditem quando ler que esse lugar é um resort..... conheço alguns ao redor do mundo é definitivamente este hotel não é um resort. Coisas simples como não ter sauna, não oferecer mesas de carteado e oferecer todas as atrações Infantis mediante pagamento adicional. Piscina com cloro excessivo a ponto de arder os olhos sem nem mesmo mergulhar, só com o vapor! Se você sentir fome a noite.... esqueça.... a partir das 23h..... pasmem! A COZINHA FECHA completamente e no há nem um clubsandwich! Somente chips! Inacreditável.....:. As quadras de tênis estão em péssimo estado a ponto de não ser possível jogar, o trem de brinquedo antigo não funciona, os banheiros da recepção estão sempre sujos....... enfim.... um desastre! Se vier a Blue Mountains fui deste lugar!

Hotel na Blue Mountain, otimos quartos, grandes arejados, o hotel tem uma otima infra estrutura, especialmente para criancas, piscinas, quartinhos de brinquedo dividido por idades, carroussel. O café da manha é bem completo. O service deixa um pouco a desejar, mas é encoberto pelas coisas que tem no hotel. Vale a pena, um Otimo hotel
