Factor in it is ‘budget’ and two star, but you are provided with everything you need for a basic stay. The staff are excellent and the extra effort is made and noticed. You can order food from the kitchen late night and breakfast (whilst not eaten) looked adequate.

Not the prettiest location (next to busy road) but really good value for money. Stayed in a double room. The room was clean, warm, comfy bed, quiet and friendly, helpful staff. The shower was really clean and warm. I’ve stayed in more expensive hotels which weren’t as good!

This is one of the finest Ibis Budget hotels in the UK in my humble opinion given the value for money, cleanliness and above all the wonderful customer service from a team that really care about their customers. The location is right next to the M4 motorway with its connections to all of South Wales, for those using public transport there is a bit of a walk to the nearest bus stops which links with the town centre of Newport and the main railway station and also to towns such as Cwmbran and Malpas together with a fast link X30 bus to Cardiff City Centre. The hotel is spotlessly clean if a little jaded in terms of upkeep and décor. The rooms are functional and have all you require for a comfortable nights sleep plus a nice television and wonderful Wi-Fi. The bar is limited, as is the evening food menu (pizzas only) and breakfast is a continental affair. My abiding memory of the Ibis Budget Newport will be the genuine warm and friendly customer service from the tremendous team at the hotel; with special mention to Trev who is amazing and a true credit to the business.

Stayed in the ibis hotel newport from Friday 17th to Monday 20th Nov. Staff was amazing helpful. Couldn't do enough for us. Room was very nice and clean. Thank you all for your help. If i was going anywhere to stay in the near future i would go there Brian.

O atendimento no check-in foi incrível. O rapaz que me atendeu (desculpem-me, não registrei seu nome) fez a reserva e gentilmente organizou um táxi para me apanhar na madrugada. O quarto é colorido, limpo, tem ótimas toalhas e a cama é muito confortável.
