Nicht nur, daß die Klimaanlage nicht funktionierte, auch der versprochene Heizlüfter kam nie an. Zuerst wollte man uns nicht vor 15 Uhr einchecken, da ich aber erst nach 23 Uhr zum Hotel zurückkam, war es möglich, ein Zimmer zuzuordnen. Die zwei Personen Personal im Hotel gegen Mittag waren total überlastet und auch nicht richtig ausgebildet. Außerdem waren sie mit Reinigungsarbeiten im Restaurant und eisplattenentfernung auf der Anfahrt beschäftigt. Als wir gegen 0:30 Uhr im Hotel wieder ankamen, war die Garage verschlossen und auf die Klingel reagierte niemand. Folglich mussten wir unser Auto im Freien abstellen. Da wir ausnahmsweise früher einchecken konnten hatten wir auch eine zugangskarte und konnten damit das Hotel betreten. Dass die anfahrtzone und die restlichen Wege um das Hotel völlig vereist waren, kann nur auf mangelndes Personal zurückgeführt werden. Diese Unterkunft kann ich mit gutem Gewissen nicht weiterempfehlen und werde mich auch hüten, dieses Hotel noch mal zu buchen. Dass das Zimmer Personal kein Wort Deutsch versteht, ist eigentlich nicht zu bemängeln. Es wäre aber schön wenn man sich mit dem zimmerpersonal irgendwie verständigen könnte. Als ich am 7.12 gegen 20 Uhr das Hotel anrief und die Ankunft bekannt geben wollte, wurde ich mangels Deutschkenntnissen nicht verstanden. Daraufhin versuchte ich die zentralnummer zu erreichen, die aber von dieser Hotelgruppe nicht besetzt war.

Soweit alles in Ordnung gewesen, nur der Empfang von den 2 Damen war unmöglich. Wir hatten 3 Nächte gebucht mit Hund. Aber für den Hund sollten wir für 4 Tage bezahlen. Wir konnten auch die Sache nicht klären, da die Damen sehr unverschämt wurden und darauf bestanden. Hier sollte mal das Magnement einfach mal eine Antwort finden. Ich kann dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen. Leider.

If you arrive after a certain time (10pm according to the email, 11pm according to the sign on the desk) you have to request a code to get the room key from the safe. I tried requesting with both the online check in and email but got no reply, so we had to call internationally. The first time I called I was greeted with “we’re very busy, can you call back in 30 minutes?” They didn’t take no as an answer and said they’d call me in 5 minutes. When we arrived at 12:30am we got the key no problem, but the room was dirty. Sheets messed up and stained towels on the floor, obviously it had never been cleaned! We went to the front desk and there was a sign that gave a Night Audit number in case of emergencies. Except, it’s actually a third party and they can’t do anything. There was another woman already calling the number because she arrived to the hotel and her room key wouldn’t work. The person from the “emergency” number said she was unable to reach any of the hotel representatives so there was nothing she could do. She told the woman and us to go rent a room from the Holiday Inn two buildings down. We booked for two nights. So the following day the man at the front desk told us he would cover the bill for the stay at Holiday Inn and we would stay with Ibis for the second night. After having to make multiple international phone calls, waiting to figure out where we can stay for the night while exhausted, and taking all of our luggage between hotels multiple times, I asked if there was anything he could do for us. He said he could offer free breakfast. Which, honestly, I’m pretty sure you could simply walk over and get without paying anything. Terrible customer service. He said “mistakes happen.” Well, Holiday Inn said this kind of thing is common with Ibis. I suppose mistakes happen pretty often here. After all of this we weren’t offered any kind of refund at all, absolutely nothing for our trouble and stress.

Hotel ibis na configuração mais recente (minimalista), sossegado, situado junto à circular de Munique e a 25 minutos de distância da cidade (por carro, ou por comboio). O estacionamento era gratuito. O restaurante do hotel serve jantares óptimos a cerca de 15€ por pessoa. Tinha RTPi e o Wi-Fi eram bom. O ponto negativo é o conceito minimalista: Não tem toalha de rosto, pelo que a toalha de banho tem que servir para as duas funções e os locais para arrumação são mínimos.
