Première expérience décevant

Pour une première, je reste assez déçue de cette expérience. On m’a attribué une chambre dans laquelle était présente une odeur pesante, très désagréable. De plus, la chambre dans son globalité (toilette, douche) n’était vraiment pas propre. Après avoir expliqué le problème auprès de la réception, on m’a attribué une autre chambre nettement mieux. Aucune odeur était présente, une douche moderne sans rideau… quelques tâches sur le sol ainsi que du bruits en raison de l’emplacement de l’hôtel (4 voies) étaient présents. Cependant, ce n’était rien par rapport à la qualité de la première chambre que l’on m’a attribué. Hôtel qui fait l’affaire seulement si le confort n’est pas une priorité absolue.

Bon hôtel avec une ambiance familiale, petit déjeuner au top avec des produits de qualité et régionaux, chambre spacieuse avec un grand écran de tv. Établissement propre. Parking gratuit éclairé et sécurisé. Et les nouveaux gérants sont super agréables

The hotel is clean and well managed and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It is an easy drive into central Vannes. Parking is plentiful and gated. The only meal served is breakfast which by french standards is good, but there are food outlets within easy walking distance. We will say there again.

This is a old hotel that has had the Ibis furniture added though this is not a bad thing. It's situated on a out of town shopping/industrial estate which provides a couple of restaurants nearby. You probably wouldn't want a long stay here but as an overnight or for a few days exploring Vannes and provided you are driving it's fine. The only minor issues we had were a light that started flickering in the middle of the night and some banging doors when people getting up earlier than us left their room.

I've been here before and booked it for an overnight before a business meeting in Vannes. As before, the team were very welcoming and the room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was also good value. However, it is looking a bit tired and that is a shame because it is a very handy hotel and the staff are really very good. Please, if someone at Accor/Ibis is reading this, get the painters in and give it a spruce up! Would I stay here again? Definitely. But that is as much to do with the location and staff as anything else.
