Worst service ever

I left work late in Sydney around 7pm needed somewhere to stay called ibis and gave my details and credit card detail to the receptionist he confirmed my booking. On arrival around 11pm I was told I had no booking by a rude receptionist. I questioned the issue and he called the original person who took my details the reply was he didn’t enter the booking and now we are fully booked. By now it’s 11.30 at night and the receptionist did nothing else other then say we can’t help. This attitude and lack of care is the worth kind of customer care highly disappointed and will never go near this chain again. I will also tell all my family, friends and business associates not to use the chain.

Stay overnight with my wife on our way to Melbourne.I have stayed many times over a period of times when travelling by car. The Hotel is in need of major refurbishment , the room smell of faecal matter, the furnishing laminate is peeling off, the little fridge is not working properly and cleanliness of the room left to be desire. A $25.00 AUD for parking your car in an unsecure car park is added to your bill, not very good when you are an Accor club member

When we arrived there we people everywhere cleaning up after heavy rain had flooded the foyer and restaurant area. A lady who was mopping and cleaning greeted us with a big smile. We thought she was the cleaner. Turns out she was the head Chef ( Rebecca) and was fantastic helping us. My wife is in a wheelchair and Bec organised with the staff to have us upgraded to a disabled room. She then helped me bring our luggage into the room. The staff we fantastic, breakfast was great. The room was great except that the bed was too high. Only negative was the parking fee of $25 per night. One month ago it was $15. After discussions with staff, the second night fee was waved. Overall really happy with our 2 night stay and a big thank you to Rebecca who we felt went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

Could not give a pleasant or positive review after two stays. Stayed in Brisbane and Christchurch Ibis, enjoyed immensely both stays. Could only compare this motel to outback backpackers. Disappointed to see an Ibis that has been a special place we have stayed before such a negative comment

We booked 6 single rooms on the 4th if August and received the confirmation email with our bookings for all six rooms. Travelling 2 hours from Sydney we arrived to reception to be told we can't find your bookings. The man at reception we behind the staff door and said we are sorry but we changed our booking system and your booking has been lost. He was little help. Luke who seemed overworked and was working past his knock off time was the only staff member will to try to find a solution. As we waited we tried ourselves to find alternative accommodation close by and Luke accommodated by giving us complimentary drinks whilst the other staff member checked in guests that had booked after us but were allowed a room before us. Luke did manage to find two rooms and gave up his own room and organised pull-out beds in each room. Not ideal but he did his best in a crappy situation. If it wasn't for Luke I'm sure they would of been happy to see us sleep in our cars somewhere else. Poor management and rooms very average. Only stay here if you come home drunk and can ignore the below par small ship style tiny rooms. But give Luke a payrise!
