Une grande déception, un hôtel introuvable et sans bienveillance

Cet hôtel c est de la poudre aux yeux méfiez vous des photos! Arrivés après 1 h d’errance dans des parkings en travaux et sans indication, impossible de garer le véhicule et le service de voiturier pourtant mis en avant est indisponible pour arrêt maladie depuis longtemps! Mauvais expérience au petit déjeuner pas d accueil, on se place seul et surtout on nous explique pas comment faire on demande au bar de nous faire café et thé et enfin on nous montre le coin avec la machine à café mais sans aucune sympathie. Le petit déjeuner est moyen bien en dessous de ceux proposés par pullman, mercure etc … La chambre est sympa belle déco mais ne pas regarder de trop près : poussière, cheveux à la salle de bain, finitions peu soignées. Nous avons été très déçus de cette expérience

Nous avons bien noté vos commentaires et nous vous assurons que nous mettrons tout en oeuvre afin que cela ne se reproduise plus. Nous n'avons pas de parking a proprement parler comme vous avez certainement pu le remarquer lors de votre arrivée et pas de service voiturier, nous avons eu un voiturier pendant quelques temps car certains clients garaient leur véhicule devant l'hôtel sans prévenir la réception. Nous sommes sincèrement navrés s'il y a eu une mauvaise communication à ce sujet. Soyez assuré que cela est bien noté sur tous nos sites, indiquant le parking à proximité. Nous vous remercions encore pour votre retour et espérons regagner votre confiance.

Horrible experience do to Canelle

I always came to this hotel but will Be the last one do the horrible treatment of the night receptionist call Canelle. She treat me super in a horrible way. She denied to me the welcome drink and the upgrade (I a gold member). Pls review and train your staff to treat your customers respectfully.

I am sorry that your experience did not live up to your expectations; allow me to offer you my sincerest apologies. As stated when you arrived, the benefits of the loyalty program are only available to guests booking via our All.com website. The reservation you are refering to was not booked with our All.com website, therefore as per the loyalty program’s guidelines, you were not eligible to the benefits associated with our loyalty program. All your reservations with us have been made via online agencies (Expedia, Agoda) and you never got an upgrade in our hotel. We may have given you a welcome drink before as a mistake which might have been confusing and we are sorry for that. We understand your disappointment and I am truly sorry if you have felt that my behaviour was horrible to you. I can assure you that I only applied the hotel’s procedure and the ALL membership program recommandations. Yours sincerely Canelle Front Office Supervisor

Fabulous hotel, amazing and friendly staff, very clean and comfortable! Transportation is convenient to the city. Looked like a safe area at night, no issues. There are some restaurants in the area. When using Uber, give location as Novotel (a hotel nearby, few minutes walk), because for some reason Uber drivers don't know how to get there (drivers' fault, nothing to do with the hotel); no issue with taxi drivers as they know to access the hotel.

Poor experience. Unfriendly and aloof reception staff, pokey little room, rock hard bed (needed two mattress softeners to sleep), hugely expensive food. Nothing to recommend it at all. This hotel used to be a Sofitel and it was much better when that chain owned it. MGallery has worsened it a lot.

At the face of it it seems to tick all boxes but the hotel isn't quite 5 star in terms of comfort and grace. Its set in a business district and all neighbouring eateries maintain business hours for most of weekend. Even the starbucks which opens up within teh hotel was found to be closed most of the evenings. The beds and pillows are not comfortable enough. Air conditioner is too ancient to allow suitable controls. As per the reception staff at the time of check-in, we were 'upgraded' to a deluxe room but I dont think that was true. Nor was there a 'jug full of water' as per his response - instead just the normal tap water in the tea kettle. Not going to go back.
