Fantastic stay at the Sofitel Luang Prabang! Service was warm, welcoming and attentive. The staff bends over backwards for their guests. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We had one pool suite and one garden suite and they were both wonderful rooms. The breakfast spread was delicious with made to order western and southeast Asian specialties. Highly recommend this gem of a hotel which retains its sense of place and understated luxury.

Arrived late and collected from the airport by the hotel. The welcome was excellent which set the standard for our week long stay. We had a heritage garden suite which was massive with sunbeds and a bath in the garden. We appreciated having some outdoor space to ourselves although the hotel was so peaceful it was relaxing everywhere. The pool is beautiful, breakfast was a masterclass in service including a free head and shoulder massage and we ate a couple of times there in the evening and enjoyed both meals. The hotel is a good 30mins walk from LP centre and it's not an easy walk but the hotel provide a car on demand to shuttle you in and then it's a case of popping into their sister hotel, the 3 Nagas to request a ride back. A really good system. What really sets this hotel above anywhere else we have stayed is the quality of their staff. Everyone went the extra mile to make us feel as though this was our home and nothing was too much trouble. It's hard to call out any individuals but we particularly appreciated Keilli in the restaurant and Mr Lum (hope we have his name right!) who frequently drove us including back to the airport where he even carried our cases up to the check in desk! Finally a mention for the bunnies that run free in the beautiful grounds, great fun! The best hotel we have ever stayed in and a credit to every member of the staff. A great place to base yourself in the wonderful Luang Prabang.

This is a gem. The hotel is beautifully decorated, everything looks refined and tailor-made. The service is amazing and over the top. The entire team is very professional and helpful! I definitely recommend. This hotel deserves a 7 out of 5!

Serenity and Peace but a happy place to be. We stayed here for a few days but we felt so attached of all the staff from Front Office to F&B. Such a nice experience we had with our friends within the group travelling together. Thank you Keilli for all the suggestions and small talks that makes our stay more comfortable and easy. I can't say enough about our Feb 26- Mar 1 stay at the Sofitel Luang Prabang. The grounds are beautiful. Our suite with the private outdoor sitting area, including our own outdoor tub, was a small paradise. The staff in all areas were friendly and helpful. I can't say enough about the staff at the hotel's restaurant, our spot for a delicious morning breakfast and also dinner. Keilli and Khamphone made our dining experiences memborable. Their attention to detail and level of service was exceptional. They made our stay extra special.
