Clean and modern hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast with lots of choice. Really helpful on reception desk. We were able to purchase a 3 day public transport ticket which we would really recommend. It meant we could hop on and off the public bus to Venezia (number 6) and then the water bus to explore all areas of Venice (lines 1 & 2) Bus stop from the hotel was not too far but quiet and lonely at night which for two females walking under a bridge and then an enclosed pathway in the dark was quite unnerving. Taxi from Venezia bus terminal to the hotel costs 25-30 euros. Bus during the day was absolutely fine, it takes around 20 mins once you’re on and is very busy so you will likely stand for the journey. You need to validate your ticket at the machine on the bus and then each time for the water bus. Taxi to/from the airport costs 60 euros. We found the bed and pillows a little uncomfortable, really hard, which I’m sure is down to personal preference. The hairdryer kept over heating and stopping after a few seconds of use which was really annoying when you’re trying to get ready to go out. We would have liked some drawers to put our things away and more hangers (only a few between two people) A dressing table cosmetic mirror would also have been nice to do hair/makeup close to the plug socket. We found the hotel room very clean and modern but basic.. The bathroom was a great size with a lovely shower. Air conditioning not available in the room when we visited (April) Apparently it’s too early. The room was really hot so we had to open the window which we found to be really noisy when we tried to sleep due to the close proximity to the motorway - lots of trucks/cars etc passing by and noises of truck horns beeping early hours. It would have been very quiet with the window closed but too hot for us. Overall we just used this hotel as a base but we found it a little too far out to travel everyday so probably wouldn’t stay here again. Great for others who don’t mind the travelling times.

Convenient location directly at the freeway exit and walking distance from bus stop to go into Venice. It’s quiet, sound proof windows Disliked: Pillows hard like rocks Wifi extremely slow No shampoo, conditioner or body lotion in the room, had to ask at reception, but they only had shampoo Hair dryer shuts off after about 45 seconds, as it’s a very cheap make that overheats after less than a minute No make up mirror Air con set to a min of 24 degrees which is really too hot to sleep comfortably Breakfast is total chaos with all the guests, 1 small coffee dispenser, and waiters running around furiously trying to restock the Buffet, which is constantly out of everything. Be early!

Over all we were very happy with the service we have received for the three nights we spent in the Hotel. particularly, When we reach the Room The TV was not working properly .We raised the concern to the reception and within few minutes Mr Marco came and tried to fix it and still it didn't work. immediately he offered another room and we shifted to another Room. in addition Marco was very helpful and any issues he was available to sort it out.

Hotel Mercure Venezia Marghera to przyjazne miejsce! Chociaż lokalizacja mogłaby nie zachęcać, to jest to mylne. Od transportu publicznego jest bardzo blisko, a dzięki oznakowaniu trafimy tam bez problemu. Warto skorzystać z tego miejsca. Ceny są znacznie bardziej atrakcyjne niż "na wyspie", a dojazd na nią zapewnia bezpośredni autobus. Ja tam wrócę. Nie bez znaczenia jest obsługa hotelu, która była bardzo empatyczna i zachęcająca do powrotu.

This is a lovely hotel...very new and modern..the room was large with a king size bed..the staff were very helpful.. answering any questions we had. The hotel is near a city bus stop and the bus takes you into Venice which takes approximately 20 minutes. The M Restaurant in the hotel is very nice with a nice menu for dinner...prices are reasonable. The breakfast was great with lots of choices.
