We are staying in krabi in the hotel Ibis styles Krabi Ao Nang, being a tropical climate zone. To my surprise in the hotel, I was told I’ll only receive 2 bottles of 500 Ml water which is hardly enough for 2 people as the avg recommended consumption is 2-3 Ltrs per day per persons and which can increase in tropical regions. When I asked the staff for extra water after consuming both the bottles in the room I was not given an immediate response and persisted requests I was given rude replies and asked to come and collect the bottles at the reception by paying 100 Bhat for 2 bottles. I didnt mind having hotel purified water also. These are basic requirements when people are staying in hotels in such harsh weather conditions. If you a at least place 2 one litre bottles in the room I can understand. Can you please explain the rationale for this behaviour. I don’t know if it’s only me or I’m expecting too much from Accor. Time and again I’m having bad experiences with Accor. The staff needs to learn to talk to the guest. They are unwelcoming and arrogant. They don’t seem to go out of the way to make the guest happy which is the norm in this industry and I don’t think asking for more water to drink is something exorbitant.

The staff were amazing and even though the rooms don’t have any storage and suitcases under the bed it was a lovely hotel with plenty of sunbeds for when we went and can’t thank the staff enough by making our holiday lovely especially the massages by Beebee and nurinee who we booked our elephant trip with these are just the 2 names mentioned amongst the lovely staff who we dealt with

To kolejny nasz pobyt w tym hotelu, wracamy tu chętnie bo podobała nam się butique-owa przyjazna atmosfera w hotelu i dogodny, bezpłatny transfer na plażę AoNang. Tym razem zauważyliśmy niestety wiele oszczędności i zmian na gorsze: 1) Mniejsza troska o czystość (brudne okna w pokoju, winda, okolice basenu) -zgłosiliśmy to do recepcji i zauważyliśmy pewną poprawę 2) Miejsce na basenie sprzedawane dodatkowo (w pakiecie z pizzą) dla gości spoza hotelu, co ogranicza niekiedy komfort korzystania dla gości hotelowych 3) Okazjonalne problemy z ręcznikami basenowymi (wcześniej nigdy nie miało to miejsca) 4) Transfer na plażę tylko 3x dziennie (poprzednio co godzinę - bardzo negatywna zmiana) 5) Brak powitalnego drinka dla członków klubu LeAccor

Hotel is not willing to give me a refund. The room faces a transmission tower just in a few meters. I was traveling thousands of kilometers to enjoy nature and now I have to be exposed to a high level of radiation? The rooms are below standard very cold and plain. It comes a moldy smell out of the room. The receptionists are very unfriendly. No one helps to bring the luggage upstairs. This is the last place to stay for a relaxing holiday.

After a 12 hour flight and 2.5 hour transfer we were initially underwhelmed walking into our room. The large (and comfy) bed takes up 80% of the floor space and so the room feels quite cramped. And yet there is no other furniture: no shelves, drawers or any other surface to put your things. Just a small recess with 6 hangers. The balcony is tiny, just enough space for 2 small chairs. However the ground floor area is roomy and spacious with plenty of places to relax in the shade. The pool is a good size, and as the hotel is set back from the road and backs on to the mountain, its quiet and feels very private. Only about 25 sunbeds though. Breakfast is good and all the staff are so friendly and helpful and create a really nice atmosphere. Location is very good at the end of the main road leading down to the beach, 15min walk. Lots of bars and restaurants on this road but we thought the best food was just left out of the hotel, the Racha Restaurant. Would we stay here again? Yes because its good value and we really liked the relaxed vibe of it but no more than 4 nights as constantly getting the case out from under the bed was a pain. With just a rucksack it wouldn't be such a problem.
