Some of our family stayed in Salisbury over the Easter weekend, what was most striking about our first visit to Salisbury was how friendly and accommodating the local people are. Enhanced still further by the team of the White Hart Hotel where nothing seemed too much trouble! From booking our rooms to the actual stay, none of us could really fault the outstanding service we received. The rooms were of an adequate size and well appointed, we understand the public areas, which are looking a little tired, are due for some renovation shortly. We have no hesitation recommending Salisbury as a great City to visit, and the White Hart Hotel an excellent place to stay!

The White Hart is situated close to the Cathedral and the centre; there is good parking at the back; the rooms are very clean but our "compact" room needs a bit of TLC (the surface of the desk was "bubbled up" in one place and needs stripping). Overall, a reasonable base for visiting this impressive city

Comfy big bed. Gorgeously fluffy pillows. Beautiful decor. Lush shower. Friendly staff. Spotlessly clean. Free drink on arrival as it was a special occasion. Parking at rear for a small fee. My husband and I had such an enjoyable stay. What more could you want! Absolutely brilliant!

Rude and a shame

I was really upset by the lack of motivation from the staff over the weekend stay. Especially the young tall girl with brown hair. I think her name is Megan. She was totally rude and swore several times infront of me and my little boy. She also liked to stand around and let a older woman do the jobs for her

I had a very nice stay at this hotel, overnight stop with my partner. Lovely staff, very helpful. Our privilege room was delightful, everything needed, huge bed which was fab !! Check out of 12 is such a bonus.... Evening meal was ok, would eat out another time... (so much choice in Salisbury) Gammon and fries were extremelt salty. My partner's fish & is chops was also 'ok'. Nothing special. Plenty of choice for breakfast, suited us down to the ground. Also plenty of tea/coffee. I would recommend this hotel 100%. Decor is tired and quite worn in all public areas, but if that doesn't bother you, a booking is essential and we are hopefully going back...
