Stayed with some mates during our participation in the Antwerp Marathon/Half Marathon/8k races. Located next to Centraal Station made it ideal but if I’ honest it’s true when they say you get what you pay for. The beds were decent and the breakfast was good but I have to say I found the shower a bit small. A handy place to stay if you are visiting for a weekend but I do feel there are better places out there.

Terrible experience with no water supply. The notice is only a written poster at the lobby on a day before, no water supply from 10am to 5pm. But when I back at 4pm, they changed the time to 7pm. And until 7pm.. they told us the water will be resumed from 9pm. And until 9pm, the water resumed, but no hot water for shower, they said the hot water system need to be resumed floor by floor and expected will be resumed after half hour. And until 11pm.... still no hot water supply. And they can't provide us any solution on this. Seems we are rude for the request for hot water shower and keep saying us not allow her to explain. Finally just give us an email for complain only. No water supply with this sevice is totally unacceptable even a budget hotel. I think you can find other comments from Google or here about their bad service and attitude.

I had an overnight stay here as this budget hotel is very close to the Central Station of Antwerpen. Pros: - even though this is close to the station which might be considered extremely unsafe in any other city, safety is not an issue due to the vicinity of Diamond area equipped with videocameras. Cameras everywhere :) - rooms not very small as for a budget hotel - surprisingly good breakfast and big breakfast area Cons: - tiny WC and separated shower with a water tap in between - strange construction - not clean - my impression was that only the linen is being changed between the visits of guests: the dusty windows, unpolished furniture etc. prove my statement. - very basic and lacking comfort: no chairs, no hooks for towels, no place for storage of clothes or other belongings Not recommended. Or recommended only for travellers who have too limited budget and don't care about comfort and cleanness.
