Lokalizacja blisko dworca, przy głównej ulicy, przez to bardzo głośno w pokoju. Nie można otworzyć okien, bo jest tak głośno. Śniadania bardzo skromne, obsługa nie nadąża ze sprzątaniem i donoszeniem produktów. Trzeba prosić o przyniesienie. W poniedziałek rano nie było miejsca do siedzenia, brakowało wielu produktów. Czekaliśmy około pół godziny aż obsługa pomału uzupełni.

Mercure Bergamo was a nice hotel in a great location near the train station and airport bus stops with an easy walk to the funicular to reach Citta Alta. The hotel itself and the room was very clean on arrival. However, on day 2, the maid only left 1 bath towel for 2 people (there were none in the drawers, I checked) resulting in us having to share. Toilet paper wasnt replenished either. On day 3, we arrived back in the evening to find there had be no maid service at all that day. When I went to reception for more towels and toilet paper I was asked if I had left the 'Do Not Disturb Sign' on the outside of the door which i hadn't. This made me feel questioned rather than given an apology for an uncleaned room. The room itself was modern, spacious and nicely decorated with a large wall mounted tv, comfy bed & pillows and nice smelling toiletries. The hand and bidet towels weren't towelling though, more like cloth table napkins which was strange. I think this hotel is definitely having a towel shortage! Breakfast was nice with a varied choice. However, there was no toaster available to toast bread - maybe this is an Italian thing. The hot section could have been better - the bacon looked a bit grey/off but nice on the last morning. The sausages were hotdog type and the beans were dry beans and not in sauce. I had read a few reviews before we arrived to say breakfast was cramped/over crowded with the buffet not being replenished but this was definitely not our experience on any of the mornings we stayed. Perhaps we were there early enough. Overall, a few minor housekeeping issues in a decent hotel, therefore, would be happy to return and recommend to others

The hotel looked as a usual mercure with good location. Little did we know how disappointing it would be… We arrived and the receptionist took 20 minutes to do the check in, there was another couple there and they were checking us both at the same time. The room was quite nice and spacious I must say. The WORST part was the breakfast : no where to sit, no one to refill the buffet, NO COFFEE!!! And they charged us 25 pounds for the breakfast for a piece of bread not even coffee… terrible experience please choose another hotel and save yourself the agony and frustration. I usually like Mercure but this time it was worse than staying at an ibis budget.

Great location, a short walk from the station and the airport bus stop. Spotlessly clean room and bathroom. Very good breakfast buffet, though it was crowded when we were there and there was a long wait for the coffee machine. Good strong coffee, though. What stood out was the soundproofing. The carpets help. Didn’t hear a sound all night. Nor in the morning after breakfast, when housekeeping staff were busy on the corridor. This hotel is ranked 20/36 in Bergamo on TA. The other 19 must be amazing. We will be back.
