Hi, We stayed at the hotel Saturday just gone and we were lucky enough to stay on the right of family and friends. This is not the first time we’ve used this rate at this hotel. we were welcome to a lovely lady who was new to check in process was going all smooth until after our payment. We were informed that we needed to show the Heartists Card, as this was a new policy that has been added, we never knew nothing about this until check-in. The receptionist, who is New informed Sissi who then spoke to us very aggressive as we didn’t have the card as someone booked it for us. The issue escalated whereby we had to pay for the full nights day As you weren’t able to get in contact with the person who booked it for us, we had to wait around to see if we could provide it. Sissi wasn’t understanding about the situation and the fact that we didn’t know about this new policy. We have driven over two hours to get here and just wanted to check in and get our weekend started. we paying for the full amount and was quite sad that we wasn’t able to show the Heartist card once we was able to get in contact with the person who booked it for us. I couldn’t believe how Sissi spoke to the new receptionist by demeaning her and how she spoke to us was very rude. The next day in the morning I came down and provided the Heartist Card and was able to get a refund but still Sissi was butting in when I was trying to speak and was still making an point about the whole situation. it would’ve been nice if she could’ve been a bit more understanding and patient with us and given us the chance to show the card later without charging us. Lastly, Sissi called the bedroom and try to offer us a complimentary breakfast which was nice, but it woke us up only 9am. Overall we had a disappointing stay. We previously stayed with you guys two times and both times were great, but the most recent one has made us not want to come back again. I did ask to speak to a manager, but they wasn’t in.

The policy regarding friends and family rate is that the member of staff must send to the person staying in the hotel, a photocopy of their valid ALLHeartists card and of their ID card. These documents are mandatory to benefit from the Friends & Family rates and will be requested upon arrival at the hotel. If these documents are not presented, the preferential rate may not be granted. This is not just a policy for our hotel, it is detailed on the Accor staff website where you make the bookings. I do apologise however if you found our receptionist to be unsympathetic to your situation and we will addresss this internally I am pleased that it was sorted in the end for you, when you received the Heartist card, and I am glad that you appreciated the complimentary breakfast Thank you, again, for your feedback and we hope to welcome you back again in the future Kind regards, Joanne Joyce Guest Services Manager

I stayed here for 5 nights for business purposes, we also hired several other rooms and a meeting room downstairs. I can’t fault this hotel at all or the staff who work there. It’s an old building but the everything has been modernised, the rooms were very clean and I had room service everyday. The rooms had everting I needed and were very spacious too. I really liked the overhead shower. Breakfast and dinner was reasonably priced, fresh and plentiful. The bar in the evening had a good vibe and was nice to sit in for a beer or two. The hotel is perfectly located for the station and access to the city centre. Overall I would stay here again.

Nice easy check in because I’d pre-registered and staff were welcoming and friendly. Straight back down for dinner and the food was superb and speedy. Restaurant staff couldn’t do enough to make sure I was looked after as their tills were down. Menu is simple but varied. Breakfast had a great selection with something for everyone. Only reason I haven’t posted a 5 is because the room decor was needing refreshed but my room was clean and spacious with good facilities.

Clean, tidy, modern, friendly staff. Perfect for a one night business trip and will definitely be back when I’m in Leeds. Comfortable bed, well equipped room, nice bar and great breakfast. Well placed for the city centre and lots of staff working in the hotel which makes the service level great.

Stayed here for first time Sunday 11th February and it won't be the last. Wished I had stayed here before in Leeds. This was the best hotel o have experienced in Leeds. Thanks to Ludovic and his team for a comfortable stay in room 504. Great Service from the moment we booked to the moment we checked out. Room was decorated with Valentines petals and balloon. Stayed in an executive room which was very comfortable and spacious. Check-in staff were friendly and efficient. And we had arranged a brunch in the Soap Factory that afternoon and this was amazing. One member of staff who particularly would like to thank is Lucinda who looked after us in the Soap Factory and at breakfast on the Monday Morning. Great night sleep in this fabulous hotel cannot wait to return.
