Absolutely hostile and unprofessional welcoming

Absolutely disgraceful! Arrived to check in and we were told we were too late but we were given no check in time. On arrival the receptionist was hostile and extremely rude ! She treated us like absolute scum ! I have never been treated like that ! It upset me and my partner and ruined our holiday. The receptionist needs to learn customer skills ! She’s obviously in the wrong job. A smile doesn’t hurt ! We are not criminals, We are paying customers. I highly do not recommend this hotel !! The room is also extremely small and not clean ! Avoid ! Avoid ! Avoid ! Do not come here !!!!

Great location, good room and friendly helpful staff. Perfect for a weekend away. Raju on breakfast service was super friendly and helpful. Only a few minutes walk from the main station and Bull Ring……………………………………………………………………,,,,,,,,

Horrible hotel! The rooms are like being inside a club. The noise vibrates the rooms and the base is unbelievable. This goes on until 4 or 5 am. Litterally no sleep! We booked through bookings.com where there is no mention of the noise or how the location will mean zero sleep!

When we arrived ladywe booked in with was very helpful the hotel is Clean and the breakfast was good and great friendly staff who kept all tables clear and the breakfast area clean not like travel lodge who let dirty tables build up would not hesitate to stay here again thanks.

Unfortunately my stay here was not good. When me and my mum walked into the lobby, we really liked it and set high expectations that Ibis could not reach. As we took the elevator up and got onto the first floor it smelt absolutely repulsive, the smell actually made me feel sick. When we got into our room it also smelt bad. The bathroom was even worse, it smelt like someone took a massive poo down the drain! Honestly the smell was that bad we had to plug the door up with a towel, disgusting!! I do think its a problem with the drains as it smells like sewage, so you really need to sort that out because I was almost sick. The beds were incredibly hard and uncomfortable. There was also mold in the bathroom which is a health and safety concern and the radiator that is in the room, you could see in it and they have wrapped tin foil around the inside. There was also a shoddy paint job and the carpet was stained and looked very dusty and dirty. I will include the pictures I have taken. I would absolutely NOT recommend you stay here. Although it is cheap, I will not be staying here again, yuck.
