Our meeting returned to the Mercure Den Haag Central for the fourth time since 2017, based on our excellent experiences at prior events. The staff of the Mercure delivered again! The event was very well organized. The hotel is well situated, easily accessible for business travelers, and offers all the facilities for our gathering. The meeting room is spacious and well laid out, the audio system works flawless. Meeting breaks and lunches offered an attractive, well thought-out and fresh daily variety ("voor elk wat wils"). To sum it up: happy to return to the Mercure Den Haag Central. Totally satisfied, our experiences confirm once again that staff at this property knows how to cater to business meetings. If you are planning a meeting, this is your hotel!

This hotel meets 3 star criteria. I'd try Novotel next time (close and more central). It's worse than some other Novotels. Old towels. Pillows very old and uncomfortable (exactly like in poor Ibis). Not freshly renovated, so room walls etc worn down. Hot dishes at breakfast at the quality of Ibis (oven baked egg dish was totally tasteless, for sure made from powder). they had boiled eggs though, which tasted like real eggs. coffee was ok (brewed on the spot). some fresh veggies (cherry tomato and cucumber and carrots). the room did not have amenities typical to 4 star hotel (shoe polish, cotton pads etc). the scent scent of air freshener in corridors did not improve the impression. It's a tourist hotel, not a business hotel. Very loud noice from hallway when other guests close their doors, walls seem too thin. Arrived at 10 am, but got room only at 3 pm (which is ok as ch-in starts at 3 pm).

Hotel dobrze zlokalizowany, czysto, wygodne łóżka, parking tuz obok (35€ 24h), przystanek tramwajowy i autobusowy tuz obok, zarezerwowaliśmy pokój 2+1, ale okazało się ze jest tylko 1 duże łóżko, dostawkę dostaliśmy na druga noc, robiłem rez w ostatniej chwili wiec to jest usprawiedliwieniem, ale gdybym wiedział wcześniej wybrałbym inny hotel

Drogi Tomaszu, Dziękujemy za poświęcenie czasu na napisanie tej recenzji. Cieszymy się, że doceniliście Państwo dogodną lokalizację hotelu oraz czystość i wygodne łóżka. Przepraszamy za niedogodności związane z brakiem dodatkowego łóżka dla dziecka. W przyszłości prosimy o wcześniejsze poinformowanie nas o takiej potrzebie, abyśmy mogli odpowiednio przygotować pokój. Co do parkingu, dziękujemy za uwagi dotyczące wejścia - postaramy się poprawić informacje udzielane przez recepcję, aby ułatwić naszym gościom korzystanie z parkingu. This modern hotel has a split personality. Some elements rate 5 star some 0 or minus. My wife and I stayed for three nights in their only disabled access room in June, it costs about 200 euros per night excluding breakfast. We were delayed arriving so didn't check in until around 2300. Check in staff were very good and we went up to our room. It had been made up (maybe?) but not cleaned! Excretia in the toilet bowl, bits of second hand toothpaste in the sink (which was blocked up). Complained to the night porter who came up to the room just after midnight as was genuinely embarrassed. But, the hotel was full and this was the only accessable room in the hotel! The room was given a quick clean to get us through the night. The following morning met by the very good manager who again apologised cancelled the nights charge from the bill (we paid in advanced) and said he would rectify the situation. He (Jimmy) was ashamed and seemed quite frankly shocked. We went out for the day and came back to a very clean room. On our 2nd and final full day the room was not made up at all, beds not made, no towels no toilet roll coffee etc. Again complained to the two very nice young women on reception who were very nice and very apologetic. It was our last night and were given a free (and very good breakfast). Serving manager and staff could not have been more helpful. So, great location, really great staff, great breakfast, awful, awful housekeeping (apparently sub contracted out). Should you stay in the Mercure Den Hague? You choose! Incidently, I said I was going to put a review out and Jimmy the manager said " You must be truthful".
