We stayed at this hotel for two nights at the end of our trip in Italy. We had a small issue at the beginning of our stay forcing us to change rooms, but the hotel staff went above and beyond to make things right and to check in with us for the rest of our stay. Both the front desk staff and the bar staff were extremely helpful in ensuring we had a great stay in Venice. The rooms were a bit small but they were very clean and the bathrooms were great. Getting the air conditioning turned on was a bit confusing, but the staff actually came to the room and showed us how when we asked. Lastly, we chose the hotel for its close proximity to Piazzale Roma as we had a 6am flight - the hotel is less than a 5 minute walk to the bus to the airport (first bus is at 4:20am), which worked out extremely well for us.

Our room may have been a little small but it had all the upgrades one could ask for, the lighting, the electric plugs, the shower and it was beautifully decorated, even a fresh orchid in the bathroom. I loved the bed with the plushy pillows and blankets. The AC worked great and the TV was easy to use. We ate dinner at their restaurant twice and service and food was superb. We also had breakfast in the gorgeous dining area and the waiters were very attentive every morning. We love the variety of foods and fresh juices. We'd definitely come back.

Jako członek All z poziomem Diamentowym , oczekiwałem czegoś więcej . Otrzymałem pokój na poziomie 1 . Ludzie przechodzący zaglądali nam do srodka . Było generalnie głośno . Poprosiłem o późniejsze wymeldowanie . Manager odmówił tłumacząc wypełnieniem hotelu , co nie było prawdą . Na stronie była duża dostępność pokoi . Nie wrócę do tego hotelu .

Dear Guest, We received the feed-back regarding your recent stay with us and allow us to say that we are deeply sorry for not having been capable to accommodate your request, missing your expectations. The main purpose of all our team is to take care of all our loyal guests giving an unforgettable service experience and doing always the best to fulfill our guests’ needs; even as far as your room is concerned, we assigned you one of our nicest room with terrace and canal view, which are normally not guaranteed both. Unfortunately we were not able to grant you the a late check-out until 18:00 on your departure date, despite we have accurately checked any possible solutions. Our Front Office Manager offered you to keep your room until 15:00 hoping to do something in your favor, and I regret to hear that you did not accepted our offer. I sincerely hope that, despite your remarks, you enjoyed your stay in our beautiful city and you could give us the chance to better serve you in a future, Kindest regards Pamela Merlini General Manager

We made our booking with Costco travel, we stayed here for three nights. Breakfast was complimentary which was included in our booking. Breakfast was delicious everything was fresh and hot. Service while we were here for our dinning experience was great. Dinner was so delicious.The view of the canals was so peaceful and wonderful. We enjoyed our time here. The hotel set us up for a complimentary private boat ride to Murano to see a blown glass demonstration. This was amazing to see and experience.

Unsafe! We were mugged and assaulted.

This hotel has been targeted by assailants and is NOT safe for guests. I stayed here with my family in March of 2024 and my mother and I were mugged and assaulted feet from the front door of the hotel. We were robbed of valuables and I was injured during the attack. The police were called by good samaritans nearby. Police have record that this was not the first incident of this nature to occur recently in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The hotel is aware of this problem and has done nothing to ensure the safety of guests. They have no security (they do not even have managerial staff on site most of the time) and did not offer any assistance to us in the immediate aftermath of this event. We spent hours in the hotel lobby filing police reports and were not so much as offered a bottle of water or a comfortable place to sit. We made our booking via Costco Travel who is supposedly investigating, but MGallery/Accor Group has not taken responsibility for the lapses in security and continues to minimized our experience. Whether you book directly or through a third party like we did, you are putting your personal safety at risk by staying at this hotel.

Dear Guest, It is with deep sorrow that we read your comments since, as previously said, we all regret so much for what happened to you and your family. However, please allow us to say that we find it a bit unfair from you side to focus your frustration to our Hotel and staff for an unfortunate and disgraceful event happened in town and not inside our property. On the contrary, we have received many appreciation words from your father, and we wish to thank him for his politeness and gratitude. Venice is one of the most touristic city all over the world, and like all big cities in Italy and abroad can be unluckily hit by pickpockets. Our rooms have private safes and theirs use is free for our guests, in a way to secure all important documents and personal items. All the team gave you immediately our best assistance, both during and after the happening, and that’s precisely our front desk employee who first called the police to report the incident. It is not true to affirm the contrary, and this can proved by the official police report. Unfortunately the situation occurred outside of the Hotel, in the main alley around the corner where all people and tourists pass through for all day long to enter the city center. Outside of the main entrances we have CCTV whose registrations have been already delivered to the police department, and it is thanks to these security cameras that we noticed what was happening and immediately called for help. We are firmly convinced to have a very professional team working at the Papadopoli, who does not deserve these words for things we have no responsibility for.
