Text: Nice and quiet hotel, about 15 minutes walking from the main railway station. I got a large room on the top (4th) floor. A nice balcony, but because terrible weather (a lot of rain), I couldn't sit outside. Staff friendly and professional and a cosy bar/restaurant. Dependable WiFi. And a safe provided. Only a strange thing happened after the first night. The evening before I had purchased some drinks at the local REWE and put them in the minibar. When I came back to the hotel, the next day they were gone. And so was the tip I had left a my pillow for housekeeping, while the room hadn't been serviced yet. I reported it to reception. Upon departure the next day, the hotel staff had found my drinks and told me that a staff member in charge of the minibar had made a mistake by clearing it out because he/she thought I had left. But why would he/she think that while my clothes were still in the room and the room clearly was occupied? And why would he/she take the tip on the pillow that was left there for the cleaning staff? It was all a bit of a mystery. It is good for the hotel to invest in extra security, because the elevators had keyreaders, but you didn't have to use them. Anyone could go up just by pressing the floor button. And on the day of departure my keycard was already blocked when I came back after breakfast to get my bag. At reception they unblocked the card without me being asked for any proof of my identity. So, I could have gotten a keycard for any room in the hotel I requested without identification.

Fantastic value for money. Nice room, central location and lovely breakfast. Highly recommended. Will absolut come back again. Breakfast buffet with good selektion. Friendly staff. Spend 3 nights with my daughter and had a good time at the hotel

We recently stayed here for three nights to visit the Christmas markets. Hotel was very clean and the room was huge. Check in was busy but standard wait times for arrivals. The hotel is approximately 10 minute walk from the cathedral (Dom) and plenty of shops en route. We did not have breakfast but instead went across the road to a bakery, it is open on Sundays too! 8:00-15:00 Room facilities were good and we had a suite and this included a sofa bed and balcony, room 506. The underground station is literally next door, tickets can be purchased from the machine on the platforms, can change into English on the main screen. We would stay at this hotel again, we didn’t use the sauna but the drinks in the bar were pleasant and the food did smell good.

one word - Disappointing

Stayed two evenings here while attending the Kind und Jugend show in Koln Lets talk about the good first... Convenient. You walk out the door turn right go down the stairs and the 3/4 line whisks you the 3 stops to Koelnmesse in 7 or 8 minutes You can easily walk out the door turn left and walk towards the city centre and be there in 15 minutes Lets speak next about the negatives If you are coming late at night you maybe standing outside in rain pushing the night buzzer for a long time. I know because that happened to me, The cleanliness of this hotel is appalling, its hard to believe this is an Accure hotel Got into our room and the pillows had dirt on them. Its nigh on impossible the cleaners didn't notice, but simply are too busy or don't care. We sought replacements which were grudgingly delivered to us but were given what appeared to be 2 throw pillows that we put into pillow cases 5 times the size. The pillows were.. well disgusting and unhygienic. The curtains in the room were quite literally covered in black marks and dirt. I cannot say if this is normal for the hotel but frankly the cleanliness of our room was a negative 2 on a scale of 1 to 10. Despite the convenience I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this hotel based on my stay
