Reasonably priced hotel with great staff. I stay in this hotel a few times a year and always find the staff incredibly helpful. Peter on reception is always pleasant and goes out of his way to make conversation and be generally welcoming. How he hasn't made it to Employee of the Month escapes me to be honest. The hotel itself is very nice but as with a lot of these properties could do with a makeover and an injection of cash to get it to be something special. The public areas are always clean and tidy and the general feel of the hotel is a comfortable one. The rooms are adequately furnished and clean. Again, could do with some renovation but nothing drastic. All in all it is a nice hotel, great value for money, lovely breakfast and very friendly staff. I'll continue to frequent this hotel.

I had a lovely stay, thanks to the receptionist sorting my booking out. During check in as my booking wasn't showing up in their system. the receptionist (Fatima) was very patient & helpful, she rang booking.com, dealt with the issue also told booking.com not to charge me. As they have taken my card details, it was really strange. I was glad that the hotel was not fully booked on Thursday evening as the car park was slightly empty. you have got a star working in reception, some hotels I have been to. Reception staff would have told me to sort it myself but this lovely girl has helped me and my wife with this booking. The room we was given was amazing. food was limited, lovely staff on the bar.

Personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kamers zijn schoon en van gemakken voorzien: ruim, badkamer, tv, koffie/thee faciliteiten, prima bedden. Parkeren is gratis. Busstop op 2 minuten lopen. Prima uitvalshoek voor dagtripjes naar Haworth, Saltaire, Harrogate, Leeds en York. Hier en daar is het decor aan een update toe. Wifi werkte prima. Prima hotel, dat doet wat het belooft.

Bij het inchecken is er weinig hospatility te bemerken.. mooie reclame voor highspeed wifi niets werkt tot de 2de dag 19 na heel veel aandringen en na gesprek met India operator.. Nu het ontbijt aangekondigd dat je vanaf 7.00 kan ontbijten. Maar niets staat klaar..pas om 07.20 kwam de vraag wil je koffie ? Bij het diner kan het niet snel genoeg gaan.. en krijg je blik van alle vooruit.. en nu de kamer eerste kamer was totaal gepasseerd en Tv toestel dat bijna zijn geest laat. Welke voor mij in een Mercure hotel klasse not done is. Alle kamers zelfde verouderde toestellen.. 3 bezocht.. ik hoop dat dit bericht tot bij de accor Group geraakt.. kom ik hier terug..als het moet..
