Refused my custom for no good reason

I had unstamped "migrant paper" but stamped train billet of crossing border four hours earlier plus stamp in passport with location and time on both. This hotel turned an old man away in cold and dark. The турист down the street is better and half the price. Saw little reason to question my document or money!

Dear mr. Eikenberry, Due to Russian legislation all hotels have to inform Migration policy about all foreign guests we have. So we have to send scans of all the pages of passports, visas and properly filled migration cards. There is a big penalty for hotels who registrate guests with incorrect documents (like empty migration card). We are hospitable, but we do not break the law. Thank you for understanding. We stayed here 3 nights and arrived early in the morning. I booked 1 night earlier so we where able to check in. The lady from the reception was very nice and her English was amazing. The hotel rooms are dated and I think it is time for an upgrade. The room was spacious. Breakfast was great and they changed some of the hot items. We are silver member with accor so we receive a welcome drink. So on the last night of our stay we decided to order a beer what is included in this voucher. We sit down and expected to be served. Nobody came so my husband walks to the bar and gives the vouchers and ask for 2 beers as we have 2 vouchers. The guys are not speaking English and did not want to give beer. So he goes away and comes with somebody from the reception. She talks to them even argue with them in Russia. But still no beer. The lady tells us that there is no beer that is valid for the voucher today, we have to come back tomorrow. We tell her we are leaving tomorrow. So we think that they did not want to give us a beer for the voucher. Because after we asked for a coke he gave it to us. I never experienced this with the vouchers. Why have the option beer on the voucher and not giving it to us. I found the bar staff not very friendly and willing to serve us. The rest of our stay was fine and it was nice that we could check out late.

Close to the city beach

The best part of our stay was the proximity of the Irtysh River with its sandy beaches. The hotel itself is nothing special, with rooms showing signs of ageing, and uninspiring breakfasts. Double-glazed windows, though, are a nice touch, especially on a big football game night; we had no complaints about the sound-proofing.

Er is geen standaard minibar aanwezig, wel een koelkast. Was er voor 1 nacht, dus de moeite niet genomen. Qua veiligheid plus puntje, zonder kamer kaart kom je de lift niet in. Houd toch een beetje slecht volk buiten.
