The Ibis Kuwait Sharq offers a mixed experience. The staff here are commendable for their friendliness and helpfulness, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The breakfast provided is excellent, featuring a good variety of tasty options. However, the hotel falls short in a few areas. The rooms are notably small, providing a cramped feeling that might not suit everyone’s preferences. Additionally, the internet speed is slow, which can be a significant inconvenience for travelers needing reliable connectivity. The fitness area is also very limited, more of a small room than a fully equipped gym, which might disappoint fitness enthusiasts. Despite these drawbacks, the overall experience is decent for short stays.

Worst Experience ever at any IBIS stay

I reached the hotel late evening after my evening flight from kuwait and I had already paid for the day. So my official check-in is 2 pm, max 3 pm. But when I visited the reception late evening 9 pm, I am told that room was not ready and was being cleaned. I was then advised to have my dinner and room will be ready in 30 minutes. But, it was not ready for the next 90 minutes and after my repeated complaints and display of frustration, i finally got my room cleaned. The Worst part of all this is - no one ever came to me (I was there for 3 days) apologizing and/or asking if everything was ok even once. This for me was the worst example of customer service ever!

It’s my best experience at an ibis hotel. From the kindness of the staff to the hotel facilities, which were impeccable. I congratulate the reception staff, especially Mr. Mahmoud, who, from the moment he received me, treated me with great kindness and he was ready to help with whatever I needed. Great experience. Best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel: omelettes made to order: Indian & Chinese food on offer. Pleasant, hard working staff. Hotel was clean and the air conditioning made for a very comfortable time. Highly recommend.
