The staff are lovely - but the bed has a lightswitch embedded in the headboard, so when turning over in the middle of the night, I accidentally switched on the lights and woke up. Literally the _only_ thing I want from a hotel is a good night's sleep...I could live with the fact the rooms are a bit noisy, and the hallway smells of weed. But the "wide awake at 4AM" experience ruined it for me.

A bit expensive, but I noticed a "Hotel Full" message. This suggests that you are not charging more than the market rate. Also, perhaps I should avoid central Amsterdam on a Friday. I managed to turn off the noisy air conditioning in my bedroom, but there was still a noise from behind the shower wall.

Staff are very welcoming as soon as we get there. We stated for 2 nights and even if we didn’t want our room to be cleaned, staff left a bag of towels at our door. Schubert at the breakfast area is my favorite! He made sure that we have what we need. He talks to all of his guests and made sure we’re full and having a good experience.
