The room itself was as we expected but the bathroom was the let down. A glass panel with no shower screen or curtain and a rain shower head does not keep a bathroom floor dry and so water everywhere. On one hand you are trying to limit the towels being washed for the environment whilst on the other hand we have to use the towels to mop up after a shower. Classic example of management not experiencing their own creation! There was no external noise but a reasonable amount of internal noise through the corridor. Parking was booked in advance for a fee and was ideal for us as we did not want to take the car out during our stay. All the staff that we interacted with were very pleasant and helpful and it was a nice walk into the city. We definitely will stay again, never knew it was there prior to this stay, but really hope that they do something with the bathrooms.

Relaxed, professional hospitality with friendly and helpful staff who respect privacy and are there when you need them. The lack of an in-room phone to reception was a first for me, but in the age of mobiles was not an inconvenience. The house-keeping staff were exceptional at their jobs and make a 10 out of 10 bed! One negative: The Premier Lane entrance is not advertised/explained on the website. It was only because I was told on the phone beforehand by Ibis staff about that entrance that I didn't arrive at the 201 William St entrance which I could not have navigated due to mobility issues. The Premier Lane entrance is clearly the main one and should be clearly set out. It would greatly help menu Log delivery people too. Taxi drivers also didn't know the way there except for the ones organised by reception, which worked well.

Cockroaches in room the hotel sprayed the room and then there was loads of cockroaches that came out dead just a bit concerning not what we expected

Room could have been better. Veneer hanging off the desk. A wall clock that didn’t work. And noisy for first flr room. However breakfast was very good Last morning the key card would not work to let me back to my room. Changed 3 times by reception and still didn’t work. Cleaner had to let me in.

The only good thing is that the place. The room is so small that you can't open more than 1 suitcase. Room cleanliness is not good. The housekeeper hardly cleaned the room. Just change the towels and pick up the trash each day. There is no mopping of the room floor. The bed sheets had not been changed.
