Was given the worst room - face main road and afternoon sun. My usual is non smoking quiet room but have been given otherwise. As the aircon is not functioning the room was unbearable, when open window it is so noisy - sleepless until Guillhuem helped us on the 3rd night There is no water dispensers and the hotel uses many disposable cups ???? Funny that Novotel has poor service compared to Ibis & Mercure ( was well served a d upgraded ) had many good front desk staff

Nice welcome. Hotel & rooms rather tired & dated. Paper cups in room for tea & coffee is very cheap & nasty.

Good hotel just shame about the pool closure

Stayed here for one night prior to joining a cruise ship. Greeting at reception was great, room was spacious and we had a travel cot ready for us. Lunch was great and the service was impeccable. Disappointed the pool was closed and we were unable to use Sofitel pool as our child was under 7! Aircon was turned to heat only as it was winter and the room was stuffing so we were given a big industrial metal fan which worked a treat as we need to keep the room cool for the little one. Breakfast was a good selection, lots of choice and plenty for all dietary requirements. Would happily stay again, just when the pool is open.
