Excellent location close to the royal mile. Parking nearby was easy to find and good value with IBIS discount ticket. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a great selection.

Despite it being a very busy, city centre, hotel we found this hotel provided a really relaxing experience. This was largely down to the team running the place. All very young and enthusiastic but professional too plus everyone seemed to really enjoy their jobs. Nothing was too much trouble whatever we asked for. If we hadn't known this hotel was part of a major group we would have thought it was a single entity because of the friendliness of everyone.

The staff were really friendly, hotel was clean. Only thing I would say is that we had to ask for vegetarian sausages on the second day, wish someone had mentioned it on day one.

The room was a good size and the bathroom too. The was very little stronger space / shelves etc - this made unpacking and hanging things difficult for 2 people. There were not enough towels. 1 large body towel each and a “floor mat” is not enough. There should be more “hand towels”.
