Arrival: Easy to get in after hours with instructions provided. Reception smelled of weed when we arrived. When staff were on duty they were always pleasant and helpful, and said hello whenever we passed. Kitchen: well-equipped with fridge, microwave, sink, glasses, cutlery, crockery, but no kettle. We knew that in advance, but it was still a big miss for us. We ended up using the coffee machine to heat water, but it took about 20m to make enough for 2 cups. Location: fairly quiet side street, a bit of noise from bin collections in the early morning. Easy to get to from the airport, 30min by tram then a 5min walk to the hotel. Also a 5m walk to the nearest supermarket. City centre is a 20m walk, or about 15min by tram including the walk to the stop. Room: comfortable bed, but no aircon, only wall panel heater and fan. No bedside table on one side, but we could have moved the phone table over if required. Bathroom: a bit shabby, awkward shower mounted over half-size bath. A hairdryer was provided, even though we’d read reviews saying it wasn’t. WiFi: free and worked fine. Would advise usual precautions and use a VPN, though.
